Lava Hot Springs / City Center KOA is located at 89 North Center in downtown Lava Hot Springs. Our KOA offers lodging in Cabins and Cottages year round. The State swimming complex is located 100 yards from our campground and the World famous mineral baths are just 3 blocks away. We offer pristine camping sights located along the Portneuf River. Swimming, river tubing, hiking, biking, golfing, ziplining, and soaking in the town's famous, sulfur-free mineral baths are among the many activities offered at Lava Hot Springs.

a great little tourist attraction. the springs are a collection of heated pools coming from a natural hot spring. the pools are unique, as they have a gravel bottom, which is very relaxing. the pool's temperatures range from 1-5 to 115 degrees.

We came here in December, we were able to hook up to 30 amp (the 50 amp was not working.) and run our electronic heaters and tank heaters in order to keep the RV from freezing. They have good size camp sites and frienly staff. It was very brisk outside but with winter jackets, we were just fine to walk the 10 minute walk to the Sunken Garden Hot Springs. We were also within sight of the activitie center pools from the camp ground. We only stayed one night on our quest for other hot springs along our route. We had a good RV adventure and would recommend this RV campground Resort.

They've done some great remodels over the past year. While there aren't many tent sites (there are 3 individual and 1 group) at this location, they are close to everything. We tubed the river and could get out right at the campground, which is very convenient. Prices were good. Bathrooms/showers are amazing (part of the remodel). Pets are allowed. My only complaint is that the tent spots no longer have electrical outlets.

Great place to stay. Facilities are exceptional and in walking distance to all attractions. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Will stay there often now that we found it.

I just love this place it's beautiful scenery, the pools and hot tubs are within walking distance. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I also love the new bathrooms they built so clean. My family and I had a wonderful time camping here.
