Campers from all backgrounds, tents, tent trailers, old and new RVs enjoy the fun and excitement of this campground and town nearby "lava hot springs" There is even a popular That restaurant nearby that serves good food. The town is walking distance.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had back surgery yesterday that had some complications the next day (today) I had to call to cancel as we can't go there for the first summer for 15 years. I was distressed and said hey here is my situation I would like to cancel my reservation and they said that the policy is 48 hours cancellation notice. I told them circumstances out of my control they said no. I asked the lady to call the owner and he said no as well. I understand policy but as a business owner myself if someone came to my store and was like oops I left my wallet or they were short a dollar I would say no worries don't make a habit of it but here ya go. As for them losing money because that space is now empty it's the Wagon Day weekend someone is going to reserve it for the weekend. Unacceptable now I got to call Visa to charge back which will cost them another 25 dollars on top of the initial 38 dollars deposit...ridiculous that they wouldn't just give the 25 dollars back because if you cancel they keep 10 dollar as a surcharge.

DO NOT STAY HERE! It's now owned by KOA. Extremely high prices for tent sites and you are crowded in with 15 other tents. Terrible costumer service. We used to LOVE this place. We will not stay here again.

Used to stay here but now we stay at Mary's Place Campground. This place went downhill in quality and price. I hope the rethink their business plan so they can keep customers.
