Amazing place with great Middle Eastern food! The staff was so helpful and friendly! I got Hummus with Shavarma but they got many vegtarian options as well. I would definitely come back!
This restaurant is great! The atmosphere is cool and the staff are also really friendly. The food is pretty good especially the chicken shawarma and fresh falafel. It is highly recommended..
My wife and I stopped at LaShuk, and felt like we were kicked back to Israel. The humus was fabulous creamy and fresh, the pita bread was fresh and warm, and the shawarma had the flavor of my home town. Thank you Yosi for the experience. We will be back.
Mediterranean fare at a food hall. Had the steak hummus bowl. Pita was fresh and hot to order.Recommended dishesHummus Beef Bowl, Pita Bread, Hummus Bowl
I would come back just for the pita. But the seasoning of the rice, shawarma and cucumber salad is spot on. Though it might not technically be street food since it is in a good court. This is the best I’ve had in a long time. The pitas are soft and sooo good.
Great shawarma hummus bowl. Side salad was diced veggies, great tasting. Get extra meat for only a few bucks more.
The food was excellent. We had a tomato soup with shrimps, an arugula salad with dates and goat cheese, a branzino, a tagliata, and dessert. The dessert was not as good as the starters and the entrees, but it was good.
The hummus bowl with the steak was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. No joke. Run, don’t walk, and see for yourself.Recommended dishes
I have tasted alot of hummus over the years, both in the US and in Israel, but few compare to the hummus at LaShuk Street Food. It's so creamy, flavorful and fresh. Actually, everything at LaShuk is incredible. One of my favorites is the sabich plate. You have to try this place for a great food experience.
LaShuk is the best!!! Everything is delicious and of the highest quality - silky and flavorful hummus, perfectly spiced meats, the fluffiest pitas, the crunchiest falafels and the tangiest zhug hot sauce - all made fresh and with love by the kindest humans. I’d give LaShuk ten stars if I could! Pro tip: the new location at Revival is less than a ten minute walk to Millennium Park, and the food travels well and makes for the best possible picnic
