Really tasty! Great atmosphere. We came in while waiting for a train out of town with a few hours to kill before our departure. I got the Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and my partner got the Chicken Kabob sandwich. We also got Dawali Fries, but we ate those too fast to get a picture. Everything was lovingly made and very fresh with generous portions and good prices. Happy we came in! If we didn’t live so far away, we’d be regulars. Great job!
Stopped in for a quick lunch after hopping off the Amtrak at Union Station. The place is super clean with plenty of seating. The kitchen is out in the open behind the cashier so you can see your meal being prepared. The spicy chicken wasn't exactly spicy, but was still flavorful and not dry.
Incredible flavor, quality, and value for a downtown lunch spot! First time here and will return. The chicken shawarma pita was so flavorful with the garlic sauce adding additional depth. The French fries were fresh and seasoned perfectly. Enjoy!
I cannot express within the limitations of the English language how good this is. If you've ever seen the movie Ratatouille when the critic bites into the meal and has flashbacks to his childhood? That's me currently. I'm actually taking the falafel and hummus back home to Texas right now, as I feel a moral duty to share this with everyone I know, though it might not make it home and will nigh certainly end up eaten before we make it Not only is this the best "Mediterranean" I've ever had, it's the best food I've ever had. Ever. I damn near cried at the table into my flavorful curried french fries, my perfectly crispy and perfectly fluffy falafel, and my smooth and decadent hummus. It's made fresh, and sure as hell worth the wait. You can see the steam coming off the falafel! The first bite had me reeling, and the plates were completely cleaned. Also? This is the best price I have ever seen. $18 for the best culinary experience of my life is highway robbery, and honestly I would sell my soul to try it again for the first time.
Good food and service. I got the spicy chicken wrap and fries, and both were good, a bit pricey but good. Would recommend. Food: 5/5
Glad I found this place. Uber clean. Excellent food. The vegetable Galaya and the rice were superb. My new favorite lunch place
Fantastic. Don't miss the Chicken Shawarma plate. Most authentic, delicious Mediterranean meal I've had downtown in quite a while.
Great service from the owner and the fluffiest, most delicious falafel I've ever had! I tried the curry and hot sauces, which were also a delight. I really like that they limit their processed ingredients. You can taste the difference. I will never go down the street to IDOF again!
So delicious! The owners are so kind. I got the combo plate with delicious chicken shawarma, beef kebob and a side of lentil soup. The garlic sauce rocks and the pita is so tasty. What a great neighborhood spot.Recommended dishesPita, Chicken Shawarma
This was fabulous! Really close to Union Station and my favorite coffee shop. I only had a short wait for a train, so I gambled and the food is amazing! Service too... and they have water so I was able to fill up my water bottle. I especially highly recommend the spicy chicken kebab and tahini sauce.
