Lake Louise

I came here during the winter. They had ice rinks and it was snowing harshly. They (whoever they are) clean off the snow every now and then. Absolutely stunning to see the mountains in all of its beauty. Would definitely recommend visiting this place.

What a wonderful and idyllic place! The lake was still frozen so we ventured out. The whole place is spectacular. Will definitely be coming back!!

The scene from the deck is one of a kind. Lake Louise is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The spectacular view lake surrounded with the mountains full of trees is not a normal scene. Beautiful and unique no matter the weather or season. If your are visiting during winter don’t miss the Lake Louise Ice Magic Festival.

Breathtaking area located about 35 minutes from Banff. On top of the stunning natural beauty offered by the lake, the area surrounding the lake offers a lot of options for hiking and further exploring. If you go in the winter time, you'll get the pleasure of being able to walk directly on the lake, or snowshoe on the nearby trails. Be warned, though, that many of the usual trails are closed in the winter due to avalanche risk. An absolute must see

I visited Lake Louise during late winter, so all the lake was frozen and was covered with snow. That is good for ice-skating and skiing nearby if the day is clear. It is totally different scenery during the summer months. The Fairmont Chateaux Hotel has the best views to the lake, be out summer or winter.
