Absolutely a beautiful resort!! The lobby is expensive with a warming glow! The restaurant feels welcoming and classy while the exterior really does look like a winter Castle. They also provide horse drawn sleighs in the winter!! All in all it is a fantastic resort that lives up to its name and feel! Surrounded by the beautiful mountains and with a lakeside view. The resort can't feel anymore like a mountainous resort!!

The ice festival at the Fairmont Lake Louise was a great family outing. We wish we had known that the $30 admission was only required to view the ice sculptures, which was only a small part of what made the trip so great. At no charge, you could skate on the lake, borrow snow shoes and walk around the Chateau. We really liked the free shuttle to the event from the village. If we were to do it again next year, we would probably forego the $30 ice sculptures (as impressive as they were), and just spend the day on the lake in the shadow of the mountains and the beautiful Fairmont Lake Louise.

Impressive location with mountains surrounding it. Snow everywhere and on the mountain tops. Huge frozen lake with a small hockey rink and large skating area. Rooms were nice but i wasn't there to sit around the room. I think it was 5 restaurants including 2 bars. One has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast buffet is impressive with more than enough choices to satisfy anyone. If your intetested you can book a dog sled ride that meets just down the rode. We didn't have a car but if you do I'm sure you would find plenty of skiing and snowboarding.

This is one of the most scenic and serene places anywhere... I attended an outdoor function at the Chateau and the staff on hand was courteous and helpful no matter what was asked. Great place to spend time if you want to get away and still have civilization at your fingertips!

My husband and I got married at the Chateau this past august, and for anyone looking for the perfect venue for their own wedding, it is an absolute dream location. We could not thank the staff at the Chateau enough for their attentiveness, their kindness, and amazing service. As a bride before her wedding, it would normally be a very stressful time, but the staff at the hotel did everything they could to be helpful. They printed off my thank you speech for me the night before the wedding and had it delivered to my door within 15 minutes, even though it was 2am when I had finished writing it. They went out of their way to find me a clothing rack to hang my bridesmaids' dresses for photos. They even quickly fixed two blown fuses the morning of the wedding (caused by the 12 girls getting ready all in one room!). After the wedding, many of our guests had also commented on how friendly everyone was at the hotel- we had no complaints. But the best part of having a wedding at the Chateau is Brittany Skov, the Wedding & Catering Manager. We ultimately chose the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise over other hotels we were leaning more towards because of our initial meeting with Brittany. She was so friendly and welcoming and we knew working with her during the year leading up to the wedding would be easy. She exceeded every expectation and was beyond helpful every step of the way. She was always quick to respond to every request or question that we had and was very organized. She made us feel so welcome every time we visited, that by the time it was our wedding weekend, we felt right at home there and it just felt like a very intimate, cozy wedding. You could tell she is passionate about weddings and she made our wedding day completely stress free so we could really enjoy it. We are truly grateful for Brittany and all of the staff at the Chateau for making our wedding day so wonderful.
