I signed up for one year and paid the entire amount upfront, according to the price that is listed on the website. After 6 months, they called me and said I owed them money. When I talked to the manager, he basically said that because I have no written proof of what monthly rate I agreed to pay, they weren't going to refund any of my money or honour the agreement that was made, even though the price is listed on the website. When I asked what monthly rate I was being charged the GM said he couldn't give me a concrete price because "the prices change every month", even though the price on the website has remained the same. I'm sure they run this scam all the time. I suspect it wasn't one guy acting unethically, I suspect everyone including the GM was in on it. They were all using the same lies I recommend signing elsewhere, but if you do, be very careful and make sure you get everything in writing, including the exact amount you paid and what monthly rate you're agreeing to. If you or anyone you know has been ripped off by this location, feel free to contact me about your experience. I'm sure they do this all the time.

0 STARS. HORRIBLE GYM No one re racks weights or wipes machines down. Leather equipment in this gym (preacher curls, bench press, etc) have a permanent BO smell. There is a shortage of bars, missing and broken dumbbells, missing pins in machines, machines that are out of service, water fountains that are out of service. Gym has been claiming 'renovation will start soon' for the past 3 years. The list goes on.. The reviews that show this gym is actually decent are probably fake. LA has good gyms, but this gym is horrible. There is a lot of other gyms in the area that are much better than this one, avoid it!

I don’t normally post reviews, but this place is extremely unprofessional. I was overcharged $150+. Although I was guaranteed money back, it’s been over a month. I have called many times and spoke to 3 different staff members who have said the exact same things. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone.

I've been a member of this gym for almost a year, and have recently enrolled in personal training. Due to a shoulder injury, I haven't been able to work out for about 5 months. My doctor and specialist that I saw advised me that this type of condition I have is not curable and cannot be treated, not even with physiotherapy. I decided to seek advice from a personal trainer at this gym to go over some options on how to properly exercise and at the same time heal my shoulder injury. I met with Shubhrika, very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. The first thing we did was go over my personal goals and what I want to achieve. She taught me things about exercising that I never knew, as well as go over in detail how working out and nutrition affects the body. She also reviewed my x ray reports and she knew right away the type of condition I have. She set me up with Gary, a trainer that is best suitable to work with me, and after a few weeks I felt a big difference. The workouts that I do are gradually healing my injury. I am seeing results and most of all I feel healthy. I am so happy with all of the help and advice I received and I highly recommend anyone to seek personal training in this gym!

I'm a fan of the LA Fitness brand and most of their locations tend to be consistent, however this location smelled bad and felt as though there was a layer of dirt and grease on absolutely everything (the dumbbell handles especially). There was also much less respect for the equipment, as none of the weights were racked properly and I'd constantly see idiots ditching their dumbbells and fully loaded barbells after finishing with them. I've been to gyms around the world, but this one made me feel like I needed to scrub and disinfect my whole body afterwards. I'd recommend most other locations, but this one fell below my standards. Stay away from the ones in Brampton, ON.
