Crunch - Brampton Bramalea

I've gone to this gym since it was regency. Love the pool and the squash area they used to have. New equipments and some old equipments. Only problem is that half construction is not completed. The free weights area is too crowded and too close to each other. Fitness class room hardwood floor needs to be changed! Its old and its peeling and not even. This location has a lot of potential if the budget is right. I have been inquiring about the plans for the old half court basketball and squash area since this gym opened. It was exciting to hear but nothing is happening and its just taped up with yellow line empty or have piled up cobstruction debris. Love that there is a boxing room. A speed bag and maybe a few other things would probably help attract my people. The pool alone is so much better than before!!!!! It can get crowded and it would be nice for the equipments to be a little more separated and not congested.

Been going to Crunch since November, switch over mainly because of the commute (it’s walking distance). The front staff are very friendly, I’ve encountered the manager on our sign up, we simply just asked if the hours on the weekend would be changing and there was a bit of attitude to her tone, could only imagine if someone had an issue how she’d handle it. When we joined in November we were told that in a FEW WEEKS they would have the pool up and running (which was their biggest selling feature) it’s now March and it’s still “getting ready”. We were also told there would be a wider variety class lined up starting in the new year, there were a few additions but none like what was expected based on what was told. We specifically took the higher price membership to enjoy the additional amenities that has yet to been enjoyed. The mats are usually really dusty, and there are areas on the floor that you can easily trip on (just a law suit waiting to happen), mirrors are broken and some equipment are torn and damage. Overall we stuck with crunch anyways because of the location and hopes that they will stay on their word and fix up the gym

2 stars for the pre-included equipment that are still working. most of them are not but still for this price, you cant ask for too much. they are renovating swimming pool after almost 6 months now. a lot of other renovations are still pending. hope to see change in the customer service at the front desk as well. basically a lot of improvements needed.

Very welcoming place. I was impressed by the customer service I received when I Went with my son for registration. Very well informed and kind staff. Prices are affordable too. They have everything including physio and chiro. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Joined a month back at 99$ per year. Excellent place not crowded like other locations. Decent crowd and plenty of equipment. They will open pool in summer also
