Chinguacousy Wellness Centre

I’m mostly focusing on the gym now. I tried out the pool, showers, and sauna today, but honestly, they were just okay. The change room, pool, and showers were absolutely filthy. I’m pretty sensitive to that kind of stuff because I don’t want to get sick—I’m there to lose weight, not catch germs. I already paid for a full year, so my main goal is weight loss. As for everything else, I’ll probably skip it.

I like the gym. It's close to home, and overall people are respectful and considerate in the gym area, but the locker areas? that's another story!nThere's a lot of nasty evidence indicating that many don't carenabout what they leave in the showers- it's really disgusting- clumps of hair, spit etc. But part of the problem is that you don't see many rules posted reminding members of their responsibility as a member and as to what they can and can't do e.g., do not shave or blow your nose in the showers! and if there were signs posted, they should be in Punjabi, and other languages reflective of the community that uses the facilities.nI think the gym area is really good, clean and maintained, but by far the worst part of the facility is the change, washroom and shower areas. It's not cleaned well enough, the insides of the lockers are dirty-hair and other gucky stuff is stuck at the bottom, as if it's never been cleaned. I've read some posts of people getting sick at this facility..well, it's pretty obvious why!nThe members who have no regard for personal hygiene or consideration of others need to be outed. I've heard the sounds of members clearing their nostrils in the shower.. that's absolutely disgusting and totally unacceptable.nIf these problems are dealt with properly and cleaned up by management, this could easily become a 5-star facility.

The place had a good swimming pool and a public gym, the cleanliness was maintained throughout the day, there were vending machines for snacks and drinks, had clean drinking water and a sitting area with tables and chairs. But the problem was that people were not maintaining cleanliness in men's washrooms and that was encountered many times.

Great facility. Lots of things to do, equipment is very new and updated. They need to be way more strict on hygiene and gym etiquette.

Community centre is spacious enough for Paint Parties, we had a group of 15 and seating arrangements were made in advance as requested. Pricing is reasonable and needs to pay for music separately.
