Dr Kotylak was great. I was able to have my surgery quickly despite the long wait times we have these days. Before I went in for surgery, he found a second, non related issue that he was able to deal with at the same time, negating the need for a second surgery. He is very good at what he does.
Dr. Kotylak saved my Papa's life. He performed vital surgery to remove cancer from his colon and mouth. It's been over 5 years now and my papa is still here because of the good work by Dr. Kotylak.
Dr K was pretty sure I needed an appendectomy after examining me. CT and bloodwork confirmed his suspicions. Surgery was done later the same day. Very direct but I Iike that. Quick, problem free recovery.
If I could post a 0 star rating I would but 1 star is as low as I can go. My fiance had surgery from this guy and a week later he spent less then 3 mins with her in his office. He proceeded to tell her that one of her incisions was draining and to "put gauze on it." It was clearly infected but he didn't care enough to even worry about it. To call this guy a joke is an understatement. Be aware of what you are getting into. He couldn't care less about how you are. He just wants to cut you and forget about you. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone and I hope you or someone you care about doesn't have to deal with him either.
Dr Kotalyk did his job well. Spoke clearly and made sure I understood what was happening. Is matter of fact and concise. Team at the office is also very accommodating and friendly.
Wish I could put 0 stars, gross doctor with no respect for his patients. Made the appointment extremely uncomfortable and made disgusting comments towards patient. Gross.
Received the best care from Dr.Kotylak and staff at Ridge Meadows hospital today..knew I would. So so grateful! Thank you.
Really good doctor, but straight & to the point...maybe not much of a bedside manner! I don't mind...just want to get 'fixed' & get on with things!!
The doctor is a creep.
Dr. Kotylak is a great doctor. I wish more Dr.s were as good.
