Omg I can’t believe this is the first time I am hearing about this place. If you are craving some yummy Korean food then this is the place to go. Their kimchi fried rice is the bomb and the staff is super friendly. I liked how the food was like piping hot when we brought it back home to eat. Definitely a must try!!!
Among many Chinese restaurants in this plaza, there is this Korean restaurant. Famous food here is Kamjatang, which is pork neckbone soup. The Ddoek Boggi is also good. It comes beef and fish cake in it. All dishes are served with side dish. You can order take out here and also Doordash is available. mmmmm mashisayo!
Another good korean restaurant in Scarborough area. Very welcomed to the place. Foos came fast was very well prepared and a good amount of bones in Ganja Tang. Bimbap was good and huge as well. Good quality of food and cozy place. Waitress was very friendly as well. Good restaurant to be recommended to anyone who likes korean food. Good options, not sure if they have Jajangmyeon.
I was supposed to take my aunt and uncle out for a meal but with the rise in COVID/Omicron cases, I thought it best to eat in. I was already in Scarborough so I looked around to see what restaurants were nearby. Our Korean Restaurant caught my eye so wandered over. I ordered the KamJaTang Pork Bone and Potato Soup and KalKukSu Homemade Noodles with Vegetables on Chicken Broth to go. They survived the trip to my uncle's place and were still hot. They were well packaged and wrapped to prevent spills. Both were delicious! With good food and friendly service, I'll be back...
Tried this place twice the kalbi was great and worth the price. Unfortunately my second order wasn't that great, the picture looked great for 17.99 the picture shows large pieces of pork belly but I got 1cm by 2cm slices of pork and maybe 2oz worth instead. Also didn't come with rice for this order but the kabli did come with one. Also be wary of their debit machine as on both occasions the pin pad doesn't work so you'll think you're doing something wrong
Originally it was called the OWL of Minvera they had the best side dishes when ever you order the main meal. Now with the management changed and name to changed to Our the main dishes are the same but when foreigners go need to ask them to warm the food and again and side dishes from five to small portions. Original Owl of Minvera still around the corner watch for my reviews. Plenty of parking, seating and affordable prices. Midland and Finch
Food is consistent and service is fast. The new menu is nice adding more options to the kamjatang. Side dishes usually include cabbage kimchi, cold tofu, pickled cucumber and radish with spicy radish.
No water or side dishes were served until at least 5 min after we sat down and we were one of the only 2 tables in the restaurant. We ordered cold noodles, which tastes undercooked, hard to chew, I had to swallow the noodles without chewing. The tempura shrimp tastes like it only has flour in it, no meat. Very disappointed.
Wow! This place is ridiculous. It says open at 11am. Sat oct 30 2021. We called the guy hung up on us. I saw him through the glass literally pick up the phone and drop it down. We were waiting by the door he saw us but didnt open the door. Completely ignored us. Then we called again and he yelled NOT open then hung up. What a jackass. Never coming here again and neither should you.
Chicken bibimbap was very good but visitors to Canada be aware - their card machine doesn’t seem to take Mastercard, so advised to bring cash. They also don’t take credit cards and if you don’t have a Canadian bank you can’t etransfer. Nearest atm is 15 mins walk.
