We dropped in for a light snack and were treated to a fabulous dining experience. The charming restaurant has very captivating decor and staff was very personable and knowledgeable. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fabulous! Everything was presented like a little work of art with delicate attention to detail for all of the Inari sushi. All have delicious flavour profiles and beautifully prepared with love and pride. For sure we will come back to try some more! Very dedicated staff and Chef preparing their food!
Yummy sushi pockets! I had the torched salmon and it melts in your mouth. There were several other flavours which I’m definitely going back for. Service is excellent! Friendly, inviting, welcoming, as if you’re part of the family. I forgot a takeaway bag at my table not from their restaurant but from somewhere else and they kept it for me in their fridge until I could pick it up the next day. Isn’t that the nicest gesture? They didn’t have to but they did! They did a great job transforming the long narrow hallway of their restaurant Interiors into something that’s quite cozy, looks like an authentic Japanese place despite the small space they have. I highly recommend trying their sushi pockets if you’re around the Kensington area. They also have combo packages where you will be able to get miso soup for free.
it was okay. i got the two signature ones, eel and some fish ?. the presentation is nice, flavors fine too a bit too heavy for my liking. the overall experience is good but not raving reviews…Food: 4/5
Amazing server, I didn’t have a chance to get her name but I went in on Wednesday. Delicious selection of sushi. The spicy gyzo was really good! Better than I expected! Solid meal! I will be coming back. Great meal!Food: 5/5
This is a hidden gem in Kensington Market! Delicious sushi, nice atmosphere and fantastic customer service!Food: 5/5
love it. they are so delicious. foods and service are good. A small cozy place not too busy on a Monday lunch. Since it was our first time, we asked the server for recommendations. and it's really good. Will definitely go back again.Food: 5/5
Honestly the workers here deserve the world, the food they make is so good, the service they offer, I had one inari and I had to leave a good review bc they are always super nice and the food is so worth it OMG. I have dined in, delivery and take out and the service is always amazing. Truly want to add you to my will but you’ll get like 3$ because I am spending all of my money here.
Amazing! Popped in for a snack and we were so surprised by the whole experience! We are a fan of inari sushi and these were just delicious and filling! The toppings were plentiful and complemented the soft sticky rice and sweet bean curd pockets The waiter was very sweet & attentive, which accentuated the whole experience in this delightful and aptly decorated restaurant. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options: Avacado Potatoes Mushroom Egg
I recently dined at Koi Sushi, and it was a delightful experience. My husband and I ordered the 'Koi Lover for 2,' which included a fantastic selection of sushi rolls. The Scallop Fantasy, Stamina Unagi, Traffic Light, Aburi Torched Salmon, Fresh Salmon with Avocado, and Tako Wasabi were all exceptional and distinct in flavor. Each roll was generously sized, approximately the size of my fist, and sharing them was a satisfying experience. The standout for me was the Takoyaki, which might be one of the best I've had in Toronto. The secret sauce in the salad was a mystery, but it definitely had the refreshing essence of yuzu. The miso soup was a comforting addition to the meal. Moreover, the service was impeccable, and our server was exceptionally friendly. Koi Sushi provided a memorable dining experience with a delectable variety of sushi rolls, flavorful dishes, and welcoming service. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area!
Stumbled upon this little gem in the heart of Kensington. The staff were super friendly. We got some potato pancakes and gyoza for appetizer and they were phenomenal! And the tofu pockets we got were so yummy. It left me wanting more after I finished. I will definitely be back for more!
