Kohl's Anchorage NE

I have shopped Kohl’s in another state, in the lower 48, and had an almost identical experience. I was able to go through the entire store without finding a single salesperson. On this visit, here in Anchorage, I even asked a couple if they had seen a salesperson and they said they were looking for a salesperson as well! I was looking for a woman’s coat, we’re in Alaska (in case corporate people read these reviews) and when I finally found them, it was a very dismal selection-at least for women. I did not check the men’s section. I did not get a coat, but I had a KCup machine, three boxes of coffee, and a couple of early Christmas gifts in my cart. Finally, after my safari adventure ended, I got up to the checkout line to find only two of them staffed—on a weekend day. Very long lines. I wasn’t surprised. The moment I knew I was “done” was when I heard the checker trying to talk a patron into signing up for a Kohl’s credit card, “it only takes a few minutes,” she said. That was it, I was done. Just left my sad cart in the line and walked out. Just because you build it, it doesn’t mean we will come—great customer service should be a part of every shopping experience. I got myself an Amazon Prime membership. No more Kohl’s for me.

I always loved this store. Always found good items with good price. Much better than Sears!

Took advantage of summer clothing sales. Always get loads of quality at great prices. Quick, courteous service when shipping done.

I went on Black Friday to check out the store and their deals and I was surprised by the prices and not in a good way. They have no sales at all in their beauty area which sucked but the only thing i like and i visit once a year is the section of the store that says presentville, its a bunch of gimic toys for adults and kids. So i picked up couple stocking stuffers. Workers i spoke with qere very polite. But not my kinda store it seemed like over priced items marked 25% off which makes it still higher then competing stores.

great selection of clothes for children and home decor / kitchen gadgets. all at items at Kohl's are usually discounted or they have some sort of sale. always great deals.
