Barnes & Noble

Employees are awesome. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and effecient. My membership has MORE than paid for itself, and I love the food in the cafe as much as the bookstore itself. They have an excellent selection of merchandise that appeals to customers of all ages (and if they don't have it in stock - they can usually order it for you), the aisles are easy to navigate and items are easy to locate thanks to an abundance of visible signage (and, failing that, their amazingly helpful staff). I HIGHLY recommend this store.

This is by far my all time favorite place to shop or to just wander around when I am bored. I always end up stumbling across something of interest when I go. HANDICAP parking runs the full length of the front of the building and the sidewalk is well maintained for the clients. Be sure to stop by the cafeteria to grab a nice treat or a coffee. If you are a b&n member then you get substantial discounts in the cafeteria. I say cafeteria but I really mean Starbucks as they are on-site for the Barnes and nobles clients. BEWARE -- it is almost like going shopping without a list. You will buy too much if ya don't stay focused on what ya came for. Like the hobbit in LOTR. The longer he wore the ring the more he would lose himself. You will lose track of time and get fussed at by your significant other if ya don't bring em a treat. The books are expensive but the store is excellent. The employees are friendly and helpful with finding things and getting recommendations. They have a great selection and also sell things like board games and some art supplies. They are open until 11 pm which is excellent since I work late. They have soup at the cafe that is delicious! If they have Creamy Spinach and Artichoke soup that day, I always get it.

Great place to find books ranging from technology, latest releases to Shakespeare and everything in between. You can also buy music albums and toys for kids. They also have a good cafe. Good place to meet friends.

I rented a textbook for school off their website. Five days after the scheduled delivery date it still wasn't here. I contacted Barnes and Noble and they told me they couldn't track it, but since it was well over the delivery date it was "considered lost". They said they couldn't send another rental due to policy but they could give me a refund. This clearly doesn't help me at all at this point considering I still needed the textbook. I asked if they could give the refund and then just charge my card again and send another rental. They said no and that all they could do is just give a refund. It's 2017 and apparently B&N hasn't figured out how to place orders over the phone correctly. I will never buy anything online from them again.
