Knights Inn Kamloops

Hotel was supposed to have had renovations but was in very poor condition. Very poor housekeeping, left room at 9am, returned 4pm, room not cleaned. Smell of curry all day. People walking up and down hallway in and out of rooms, talking on phones along hallway, did not look like visitors, perhaps workers or long time renters. Very noisy kept awake until 3am. Breakfast just cereal and toast. Very disappointing stay, do not recommend and would not stay again. Stayed here during BCGames, not surprised no other competitors were staying here, we should have looked more closely at reviews.

Location was convenient, room was clean, continental breakfast is always a bonus. There's also an excellent Chinese restaurant nearby!

Had WORST Experience then Ever DON'T COME HERE ITS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED AND ITS USELESS PLACE to stay with your family. Recently checked in with this motel and the pictures are just for name sake. in reality rooms are pathetic and they dont even bothered to come and help you. Front desk people dont speak in English they use some other language. Its better to go for Panorama Inn just opp to this useless motel. Its worth it to go for other big motel rather then this Cheap and third class zero star hotel.

I had the worst experience of any hotel while staying here, if you can call it that. We booked the hotel at 8pm. When we arrived at 1am after a long drive we were informed our fully paid reservation had been cancelled. We had not been notified. Apparently at 6pm (before we booked) we had been called and told it was going to be cancelled...... they also had no other rooms available so we had no where to stay. The front desk lady was extremely rude to us and kept changing her already questionable story. She also said she had refunded us as soon as she cancelled our reservation but we never received it. It was a massive hassle to try and retrieve our money. Long story short - you will pay to sleep in your car.

We arrived to check in to what was a very unusual check in experience... was unclear to whether or not we had any reservations and the reservations were documented at the hotel under a different name then what we had provided. The front desk staff barely spoke to us and wouldn't respond to questions we were asking, very unwelcoming behavior. We got two separate suites across the hallway from each other with decks facing the street and lower view of kamloops. Our rooms patio door was left open and smudged dirty windows. The furniture looked nice and new other than that just a normal hotel room. Our remote had some type of sticky awful substance smeared all over it similar tree sap (god knows what it really was) and was smeared on the mini fridge too. Our companions were in their room settling in upon check in where someone let themselves in to their room to deliver toilet paper unannounced. We were all worried our privacy was going to be invaded. I felt uncomfortable during our stay with the unwelcome check in, being walked in on unannounced, and cleanliness of the rooms.
