Travelodge Kamloops

Decent for the price, as long as you get a membership deal or discount promo. Rooms were layed out ok and relatively clean. Amenities were few. For 2 people as specified on the reservation, the areas that were short were only 2 bath towels, 1 soap, and 2 small shampoo packets. Front desk didn't advise us about the pool. We did find it, and it was LACKING. No towels within pool area- you have to walk outside to the front desk. The pool area was in dire need of a deep clean. Walls and pool surround above water level were dirty. Hot tub jets didn't work much. Breakfast bags were decent- apple, half a jumbo muffin, mini yogurt and juice box. Ice machine was shaved, not cubed. Room air conditioner was loud, especially when going on or off. TV sound was poor. Area was a tad questionable. Be sure to specify if you need a ground floor.

This hotel cares about their occupants, and do a great job. The manager is really great at their job and listens to their customers. I'm planning on staying again in the future, and won't settle for other hotels because I had a great time here.nIt's family owned, and they all work hard to make sure their grounds and rooms are clean.nI couldn't find anything to complain about, and I used to travel for a living and have been to tons of hotels. This one is my favorite by far because of the caring staff and quality.

Breakfast is simple, yogurt, apple, apple juice, and a muffin, pool is indoor but no AC and pool is warm, ended up going to the Kamloops YMCA a block and a half away since I already have a membership.nnAC didn’t work very well. Carpet trim nails were sticking out. Sink and toilet slow to drain. Very slow wifi. Ended up using my data.

Located across from Royal Inland Hospital do you like the sound of sirens?. Don't get confused with the Travelodge located on the highway. On site laundry $4/load, $20 for 2 loads, do only small or medium loads, as dryer was weak and 40% of the clothes came out not dry after 40 minutes. Our room smelled of beer.

Travelodge was okay in terms of Room and location.nThe best I experienced was the customer service . As this hotel is far from Downtown Kamloops so we did not have options of foodnnSo in this situation the front desk girl Ray helped us by suggesting good place to eat and even helped a lotnnOverall experience I would say okay
