They recently renovated and spent major $$$ on them. Located right downtown. Yes, there can be some small issues with your stay but she is an old, old building, at heart. The staff is amazing! The complimentary breakfast buffet with your stay is amazing! Some places give a "continental" breakfast...The Plaza gives an amazing Breakfast Buffet. 
LIVE MUSIC on weekends in the Tumbleweed lounge! Wow. Live music...not stupid karaoke....so it is great for couples and groups. And the food was fabulous! They obviously have a great chef!!!

Excellent character hotel with all the original charm but all the modern conveniences. Excellent dinner at the restaurant.  Breakfast was included and really good.  Great central location as well.  Donna at the restaurant was AMAZING.  We felt so welcomed.

Venue was clean, lots of room for Xmas party. Food was amazing! Service was just as great. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked...even had mouth wash and dental floss at sink. Beautiful hotel with lots of history throughout.

Loved the Plaza! The historical feel added an extra dimension to the experience. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything. We enjoyed every bit of our experience here!

Really enjoyed staying here..love the atmosphere..the fact that original features appeals to me and my husband.  we stayed overnight and the rate was really good...love the elevator and could tell it was old style...perhaps put the 1920's 'gate' door on it! lol..breakfast was really nice..Hotel was quiet and you can't hear the traffic..the ONLY thing we had a prob with was that a lady said 'checkout' was 3pm..we thought this 'generous' and checked out around 12.30..only to find we should have checked out around noon..a small miscommunication...would def stay here again..highly recommended..
