Kipps Lane Fish & Chips

Ordered the haddock fish and chips. The fish was very good and a good sized 5oz portion definitely could not eat a second piece; tasty batter and fresh fish! The fries were also good. I liked the size and shape, and was impressed how the fries were not even remotely greasy. The tartar sauce was homemade and very good as well. Out of personal preference, my only feedback would be to have the fries with skin-on, be a little more crispy, and have more salt. Other reviews said long wait times but my food took 15-20 minutes from order during an off-peak time. Also, the price was competitive and fair. There was also Shaw's ice cream for sale by the scoop and baked good from Remark. Definitely will be coming here again and I recommend everyone try the food here.

Had the Wednesday dinner special of Canadian cod & chips. Well cooked , great batter and crunchy and tasty. Great portions and appreciated all the condiments as well. Enjoyed it and will be returning to try some other menu items and specials. Very impressed with the friendly treatment I received as a new customer by ALL staff.... & owner : Impressed and proud to support a local business. Kipps Lane fish and chips is amazing. They now have fresh cut fries which is amazing. This is a big change for them and they’re always trying to do new things to add to the menu which is also nice because it gives a variety for other people that do not like fish it’s not just a fish place, I remember when they had much less items on their menu. They have definitely expanded with adding stuff to the menu if you like Kipps Lane, fish and chips, definitely try out their fresh cut fries they fish and chicken strips are amazing. Their poutine will be excellent something me and my wife need to try one day and their Caesar salad is another hit. Me and my wife are trying to eat more salad nowadays and this is one place for a good Caesar salad as well.

The owner and employees are extremely friendly, creating a very welcoming environment! It is evident that only high quality ingredients are used in the preparation of the food offered as well! I HIGHLY recommend this place, not only because it has the best fish and chips in the city, but because ALL the food offered here is delicious! Kid-friendliness: A family friendly environment, great for kids! Parking: Located in a plaza, with a large parking lot.

I called ahead to order and was told it would take 30 minutes to prepare. I showed up 30 minutes later and was told it would be ready in 4 minutes but I needed to wait in my car and the food would be brought to me. I provided the make and model of my car. I waited for 20 minutes and watched 3 other customers walk in and out with their meals, none of whom were asked to wait in their car. This made me wonder if I was asked to wait in my car because of the colour of my skin. I decided to go back in to see where my meal was and it was still not ready. After finally receiving my food I was not impressed with the taste. Overall supper disappointed with my experience and honestly won’t be returning anytime soon.

Crispy fish and chips but very bland. If you are looking for flavorful fish and chips you wont find them here. Although the fries and fish are both cooked to perfection they just lack flavor. The batter is bland, the fries have no seasoning. Their homemade tarter sauce is too creamy and didn't have enough tang to it. I did enjoy their coleslaw. It was surpringsly the best part of the meal. I ordered a day in advance via their website and they had it ready for me on time for pickup.

I just finished eating from Kipps fish and chips 5 minutes ago have never moved so fast to make a google review. Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and the tatar was incredible. Oh, also the customer service? Amazing - they were so kind. 10/10 if that was an option.

I love the atmosphere, I feel extremely warm and comfortable from the friendliness of the staff . The owner lady was so nice and kind. Amazing fish and chips as well . I hope the owner and the staffs good health and stay safe during this pandemic. If I return to London this is the first place I want to visit. Highly recommended

This is a gem in our community and beyond. We've been regular customers for over a decade and always had a wonderful meal. Jackie and her team are always caring and friendly and its always a pleasure to see them. Parking: Plenty of room to park in the plaza. No issues and to avoid overcrowding the staff will often bring your order to the vehicle after paying. Dietary restrictions: Never be afraid to ask. When my family visited from the UK Jackie was able to provide a safe and wonderful meal and experience for my cousin who is allergic to fish.
