Irene's seafood & grill

Not the experience I was looking for, ordered 2 black boxes and a pork chop plate, they have multiple menus posted when you walk in, of course the larger menu is what you naturally see first, it wasn't until after I placed my order that they told me which menu the prices were based on $25 difference in the price, but it's what I came for. We've planned for about a year to eat here on our way back to Dallas, so the didn't matter, it's the simple fact that it felt a little dishonest, only one menu needs to be up. As for the food, my pork chops were over cooked and so was the seafood, it all had a great flavor. That all being said, we are still willing to give it another try, maybe we'll have a better experience next time.

I love the way they service the community, some lady came in from the community and the man who handles everyone getting their food asked her if she was hungry. Im assuming that he knew her and she said yes . He hold on right here and I got you.. he didn't have to help here but he did ,that speaks volumes more than the food itself.. but let's not forget about the food it lived up to all the hype delicious and pretty fast for all the food they were serving... awesome place

We placed a to go order. It was somewhat busy we were the 8th or 10th customer in line we waited about 45 min. There is a sign that says it's not a fast food restaurant, therefore your food will be prepared upon order. I really liked the customer service. They tried their best to move the line as fast as possible. We enjoyed some mix drinks while waiting for our order. There's also a waiting room with enough chairs to accommodate about 20 customers. Parking: Parking is located in the back of the building. You can also park on the side of the street

Well, I saw them on Good morning Texas and thought I would try them out considering my last experience with sea food. I was in the hood, South Dallas. It is in a place where it can be passed up quickly if not using GPS. I was approached by homeless person as I was entering the building which threw me off entirely. This is a place I would only visit during daytime hours. I placed my order for crab legs, potatoes, and corn, when I got my bill I noticed an extra charge on my receipt. It said: ADMIN FEE, WHAAAAT?! I did not know that I was charged extra money for using my debit card? Who carries cash nowadays? I wish they would have made that announcement as they were showing off their high-end plate on TV. I am not saying I would not visit again but I will have cash for this order. I don't like being charged three times for a plate of anything!!! Now the food was delicious, but go during the day and know your amount for your order before going. Other than that, good eats!!

*DFW Black Owned Restaurant Tour* We're back on our restaurant tour and this was our first stop. The catfish was fried and seasoned to perfection. The black box was filled to brim with above average crab cluster, jumbo shrimp, smoked sausage, cut potatoes, whole boiled eggs and a whole ear of corn. Their original seasoning used for the boil was bold, flavorful and provided a quick, spicy kick to your taste buds. We'll definitely return and you should make that trip for yourself.

The food taste really awesome. Very well prepared. My salad was cold and fresh. Except the eggs was not fresh but still edible. The pasta was great not over cooked and seasoned to perfection. I am unhappy with the portion size. The bowl for the pasta is the size of the palm of my hand. For 25 bucks I just wanted more. At least toast some garlic bread or something. Lol Strawberry cake was good and moist and priced fair at 4 bucks. The salad was fair priced at 18 bucks I felt it would be better with homemade dressing for the price. Those cheap dressing they gave with the salad was nasty glad I had my own to use. No one was nice or mean. No vibe. The food is good

Didn't have any pasta or potatoes....which is what I really came for....so I got the fish and shrimp box....it was good.....black box probably would have been good too if it was hot enough...tooo seasoned for my taste.....Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
