I gotta say I really like this tiny house that serves big portions of fish and chips. I ordered the 2 piece halibut. They gave me an extra piece because he felt my pieces were on the small side. How nice! And it was tasty. The fries had a hearty texture which I enjoyed but couldn't come close to finishing. Parking is easy peasy. Staff are friendly. Service is quick. And I think they way they wrap the fish and chips is cool and respectful of tradition. Thumbs way up. Keep up the good job!
First time trying this fish and chip place here in London. I ordered two pieces of Haddock fish with an order chips to go with it. The two fish were average maybe bigger size that they tasted good. the fries were great they're kind of like the old fashioned homemade fries. But I got so many fries I can only eat a third of them and I still have quite a bit left over as you see in the containers. I think I got one of those like super large bags of fries you get from Costco that you can feed 10 people with. Overall everything was good.
You definitely want to get take out here. I’ve been looking for a go to fish and chips and place in London for quite some time, and now my search is over! Firstly, as the name suggests, it’s take out only, out of this tiny building located at a very busy street corner. They wrap the fish and chips in brown paper sheets, which to me is usually a good indication of a place that knows what they’re doing. It’s like a bouquet of fish and chips. Makes for a lovely gift to oneself. Get ready for a shock when you open the paper, cause they give you an unbelievable amount of fries not exaggerating! I’m gonna have leftover fries for days, and they are really good similar style to NY Fries, but thicker. Not too starchy nor very oily. I had the 2 piece cod and it was fresh, meaty, and lightly battered. My order came with coleslaw, which was regular but good. I also appreciated that they properly provide you with ample packs of tartar sauce and a small container of malt vinegar.
The fries were so burnt that more than half were completely black. The fish was soggy on the inside, and chewy on one end. All the fish and fries were in the same sorry state. Im not sure what’s going on here, looks like they’re totally taking their customers for granted. This was our first time at this place, certainly not going back.
Best fish and chips I’ve found in London so far! Not perfect, but damn good. The fry portions are huge, we shared one for two people and didn’t finish. We will for sure come back.
Don't. Chips were skinny and over cooked to almost burnt, fish was OK but a bit small. Would've been OK overall if the chips had been as per their photos and not as per the burnt chips photos in other reviews.
Way, way, way too many fries!!! and they aren't even that good. Many other people have commented on this, but you still keep doing it. I threw 75% of my fries out. Cut down on the fries and reduce your prices. I won't be ordering from here again.
Great food! Nice thick fresh fries. The only complaint I have is the same as most people. More fries than needed. Would love a bigger piece of fish instead of all the fries. 4 stars! Yum!

Great service! Ordering online was simple and easy. The food was ready when they said it would be - which was fairly quick after ordering. The food was great!
