King Taps Kelowna Lakeside

Great atmosphere, was very busy when we went. Started off with the Korean Chicken and Brussel Sprouts happy hour specials. Was a good start.nnDecided to try their pizza out and it was amazing! Very limp pizza, had to roll it up to get best experience eating it, but it was delicious.nnFinished up with the deserts and they were a nice ending to the meals.nnWas a nice dining experience lake side.

The overall restaurant is amazing, service, food, drinks and atmosphere. If you're able to, I would recommend checking them out during happy hour from 2 to 5 pm where their cocktails are $10 and appetizers are 5 dollars off. What makes this great is that the views you get from the patio are incredible and so worth it.

We had an amazing time at King Taps Kelowna. The patio view was stunning—perfect for a relaxed summer meal. What really made our visit special was our serving guy Kaleam B. Hands down, the best service we’ve had in a long time! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish.nnThe food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively and comfortable, and the drinks were spot-on. Highly recommendable spot if you’re in town—especially if you can grab a seat on the patio. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was delightful & the service was friendly & accommodating. The atmosphere was bumpin' which meant we had to raise our voices quite loudly to hear one another. Which is typical when a place is popular. Other than that, it would be a good place for a party gathering. I tried the pesto prawn pizza & the rigatoni with added sausage which were both fantastic : Definitely make reservations.

On Saturday, April 5th, my partner and I went for a last-minute lunch at King Taps.nnWalked into a full restaurant with no prior reservation but was able to be seated on the patio, which I must say was quite beautiful. Service was fast and friendly; we were seated with basic drinks within 5 minutes.nnTo start, my partner and I shared some truffle fries that were delivered fast, considering how busy it was there. They were pretty good, basic but good. Not super punchy flavor-wise, the truffle that was sprinkled on only affected the top fries, so once you eat away the first layer, they become regular fries with a truffle sauce.nnFor our mains, I had chicken tacos, and she had a margarita pizza. My tacos came in a bunch of 3, with a few chips that all tasted very yummy, I definitely could have used a side to go with them but for an additional cost.nnHer margarita pizza was standard, but the crust was the standout feature. Dare I say PERFECT! It was crunchy but had some give and was salted very well! The portion is more than plenty for one person.nnCan’t comment on any of the fancy drinks as we didn’t order any. Overall, I would for sure give King Taps another go, one of the better restaurants on the lakefront. Good music, not super loud despite it being packed, friendly servers, good food, quick service, there’s just too much to list that is good about here.
