Located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, steps from the water. Family, friends and sports fans all welcome. Serving pub style food with a great selection of beers on tap. Keeping it simple and homemade. Proudly owned and operated for since 1995.
Established in 1995 in downtown Kelowna, Sturgeon Hall is still locally owned and operated by the same two landlords since inception – Bernie Wilson & Louis Drummond. The building itself if part of the Canada’s Historical places listing constructed in 1921 for the Leathley Family Printing Company who emigrated from Yorkshire, England In 1908. The printing company was known in the interior for publishing the Orchard City Record newspaper (called the Kelowna Record after 1911), in competition with the established Kelowna Courier.
The owners have worked hard over the years to maintain the character and heritage of the building and with increasing competition Sturgeon Hall continues to serve Traditional Pub food, with a great selection of beers on tap. For most Sturgeon Hall is known for its display of Canadian historical and sports memorabilia and its affiliation and support of the local Kelowna Rockets Hockey team.
