It’s a great Asian store in the South Burnaby area. Easily accessible bus and train as it located behind the Edmonds station. There is ample parking space available. Majority of the items are korean products and japanese products. They have a huge selection of meat, seafood, fruit and vegetables.nnI love that they sell the famous Nissin Seafood noodle of Japan. They also have the dried baby anchovies that are so good for frying.nnRecently they added a great selection of filipino goodies and italian products! They even sell the black cuttleink.nnA good place to get your daily grocery needs.
This is a great little grocery store for the neighborhood. The owner lady seems grumpy and rude just throws the receipt at you, and grunts. I hope the staff there are getting treated nicer that how she treats customers. All other staff are great. The prices are pretty decent. Everything seems to be 'marked down', but some products are not really a deal, so you gotta do your due diligence. Also, make sure to check the best before date as they have quite a few products that are past the bb date and they sell it anyway.
Love to shop here. Cheap produce like ambrosia apples. Also have Korean sushi kimpap and candies. Came again for pocky and veggie kimpap sushi
We only recently discovered the wonders of Kim's Mart, and I was overjoyed to learn that there's a second location of Kim's Mart, just behind Edmonds skytrain station in Burnaby. This one is so much closer for us than the one on Broadway.nnThe selection here isn't quite the same. It's missing a few things compared with Broadway. Overall though, it's got pretty much the same kind of selection. At the Broadway location I had bought a bottle of Guava flavored Aloe Vera juice that was on sale for $0.99 or 3 for $1.99. We saw that exact same deal at this location in Burnaby and so my husband decided to buy 3 bottles of it this time!nnWe also saw the Sakura Cola we had seen at the Broadway location. I'm quite happy too to have this Korean market closeby to us as I have only quite recently started to dabble with cooking Korean food at home. Pretty nice Korean mart which carries some Japanese products as well. Cashiers were pleasant and professional. Quite a small shop though compared to major Korean grocery shop like H mart or Hannah. However sales are usually great even during the weekdays.
