Hannam Superstore is always a fun stop if you’re looking for authentic Korean groceries. It’s usually busy, which says a lot about its popularity, and I love that they have such a big prepared food section. Their hot food is definitely a highlight, and their freshly made fish-shaped taiyaki is a treat if you’re into sweet snacks. While some packaged snacks and boxed foods can be pricier than at other supermarkets, the variety and specialty items make it worth browsing. They even carry cookware like pans and pots, plus a section dedicated to beauty and skincare, so shopping here feels like a mini Korean market experience.nnOne thing to note: parking can be a bit challenging. It gets hectic, and I even witnessed someone back their car into another person once—yikes! Definitely worth visiting, but go prepared for a busy lot.
The mushrooms had mold on them. I removed the bad ones and still cooked the dish, but the sour taste was very strong and unpleasant. I couldn’t eat it and had to throw everything away. I don’t think I will buy from here again.n ?
My wife and kids love these red bean fish dessert. I was in the area and decided to pick some up and bring it home. 3 for $4.99 is a deal and they are so tasty . You can have custard or red bean. As for the other item, its like a breakfast muffin for $3.49. Kinda small, was hoping it would be similar size as the fish since the fish is $2.69 for one. But its pretty tasty. Traffic is really bad coming in and out of this plaza during peak hours.
The Korean skin clinic I come to is upstairs and I always come here for a snack and to stock up on my skincare. The skincare products here are so affordable and so much cheaper than other places which I appreciate.nnThe staff here is so kind as well and tries their best to help me even if sometimes we don’t understand each other very well.
After living in Korea two months during our travels. We realized how we missed the Kimchi and some of the local delights Korean cuisine has to offer. Been shopping here for years. Burquitlam is Korea town in Vancouver! Good prices, tons of meats, seafood and produce. Basically all the essentials you can find in Korea, you can find here. Love the in-house kitchen staff. Those Korean aunties know What’s up! Truth be told we came for the in-house kimchi , fried chicken and gimbap! Affordable for Vancouver and it’s super yummy too!
