Last month, I brought prescription to this pharmacy for eye drops Atropine 0.01% for 3-month usage , one pharmacist checked my prescription and asked for about $95, but when I was called to get my eye drops I just got one 5ml bottle 1 month usage eye drops and they told me last payment is just for this one bottle and further explained the 1 bottle eye drops will be expired within 1 month. I was confused that why did not told me $95 is only for one month one 5ml bottle when I gave them prescription?! I feel I got ripped off. Take care!
The girl at the front desk with brown hair was such an angel, she was so kind and let me use a charger when my phone was almost dead so I could wait for my uber : and the girl with blonde hair and glasses at the pharmacy was exceptional, came by me 2 or 3 times to make sure things were clear and organized. And the man at the front entrance was very friendly and helpful!! wonderful experience for sure.
The short version; The place is full of angels. The long version; I found out, with pretty short notice, that I needed to bring my crutches with me for an ACL repair. No where in the city had them, except Kenton but this isn’t just about their stock. Not only were they perfectly happy to help me, even though I stormed in there like a Tasmanian devil 3 minutes before they close don’t do that, if you can help it, it’s rude. I had someone sizing a cane for me at the same time that someone was sizing my crutches. They took the time to teach me to walk with them and make suggestions for a cryo machine for post-op swelling. They even helped me take everything to the car even though everyone was technically done their shifts. Like I said, angels for staff. Knowledgeable, beautiful, helpful angels.
Went to get compression socks and a wrist splint, staff helped me find the proper fit for both products. Parking fee was included if you give them your license plate number.
I have had two experiences with this pharmacy and both were awesome. Most recently, I returned for a second time looking for a splint for my right arm. The cashier/clerk immediately assisted me, was extremely knowledgeable and made recommendations consistent with my physician. He spent a great deal of time with me, was very positive and had a sense of humor which in this time of stress, was so welcomed. Hats off to a business who invests in their employees not only with product knowledge, but with compassion, patience and kindness. Well done!
The Kenron Compounding Pharmacy in Foothills is AMAZING!! I have used this store on numerous occasions to access various goods and services for a unique medical situation and they have NEVER failed to impress!! Each time I leave the store, I have everything I need and often times have things custom made to ensure the best fit and support. The staff are caring, interested and, most important knowledgable. If you’re not using this pharmacy, you’re missing out! I always leave with a smile. Thank you, thank you to Jacquie and Steve!
We made a return trip to Kenron recently, to look for a specialized product. We met with Jacquie, who provided us with exceptional service, knowledge and understanding, and not just one product, but 4 to choose from. She also had ready information and products for back support braces, and again, had a variety to choose from, recommending the most appropriate brace, not just the most expensive. Our experiences over the years with Kenron have always been excellent, and we recommend the NorthWest location as a place to shop.
Not recommend. Very rude staff in homecare service at foothill location. Be aware of that all the stuffs are FINAL SALE, even for DEFECT products. I bought an air cast boot for my feet fracture. It was leaking air and the air was completely gone after I worn it for just 10 mins. So I went back on the next day for an exchange, the home service staff told me their policy is NO EXCHANGE and NO RETURN for any reasons if you tried it on. That's unbelievable! The air cast boot is suppose to help my feet healing, now it make my injure even worse due to the defect boot they sold. I politely asked for an exchange because it hurt my ankle badly and the staff just rudely told me to take back this defect shoe and leave.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Pharmacy for the following reasons: 1 My son has acid reflux disease and required medication. The pharmacist at their south location at first said it would be 6 to 7 days to get the medication. I actually had to tell him this was unacceptable as my son is in pain and my wife has post-partum depression in part from the inconsolable crying, and we would go elsewhere. That was when he decided we could get the medication the next day. 2 Needless to say I was not entirely convinced the pharmacist would come through with his promise, so we contacted the pharmacy twice the next day inquiring about the status. Both times we were told it would be at their location later in the day. At 2:30 PM they informed us they would not be receiving the medication, but it was at their North location. I drove to their North location myself to pick up the medication. 3 I asked the North location why I had not been told earlier in the day it would not be delivered to their South location, so I could pick it up myself and begin my son's medication treatment to alleviate his pain and inconsolable crying. I was told they had notified the South location first thing in the morning they would not be receiving the medication. I was given no explanation as to why I was not notified. 4 I was given a prescription for 3 months. The pharmacist gave me 15 ml, enough for less than 2 weeks at a charge of $51.00, he told me the medication only lasted int the refrigerator for 2 weeks, however the expiry date on the bottle was for one month. I moved the prescription to another pharmacist who gave me 30 ml for $54.00. 5 I asked Kenron why they were 100% more expensive than their competitor. The medication for the entire prescription would have cost me an additional $150.00. I was informed that if I had purchased 30 ml, their price would have been the same. I asked why I was not given the 30 ml amount and was told it was a decision my pharmacist and I must have agreed upon. Clearly, I would not knowingly choose to spend twice as much on an item as I need to. In summary, my wife and I feel our need to acquire the necessary medication for our child to control his pain, and lessen the impact it was having on my wife's post-partum depression did not even register with the pharmacist, and all he wanted was an extra $150.00 and would supply the medication when it was convenient for him. Very helpful and have always prepared my medication in a timely fashion. Excellent friendly staff.
