Kanadell Japanese Bakery

We came to check out this place after visiting the Japanese market next door.nnThis bakery was much bigger than expected once we entered. It was a cozy place with some large tables in the middle.nnWe ordered two mini mochi bites, one matcha and one sesame. They were both very good, chewy but not too sweet. Coffee was also good. There were more items we wanted to try, unfortunately we were full from our lunch just across the street.nnWould love to come back again.

Their Japanese curry bun is the best, eat it warm! The crust is crunchy and airy, the filling is very flavourful, I don’t think there’s any other place in Vancouver that does it like this or as good.nnHoujicha latte is worth it — I got it to go and it was perfect at the 25% sweet

Kanadell Japanese Bakery was kawaii and delicious! I enjoyed their adorable food and drinks, which were as tasty as how the cute these guys look. I usually don’t like Nanaimo bars because they’re too sweet, but theirs was an exception—perfectly balanced and enjoyable. Good price too.nnI would recommend you to give it a try!

I love popping my head into Kanadell Japanese Bakery when I have time. I love the warm and fresh curry buns curry pan when available, they sell out fast! They have many delicious bakery items and offer interesting products. They have a comfortable seating area, always clean and have friendly attentive staff. A must visit if in the area, recommended.

The beef bun was so crunchy and fresh. One of best I’ve had. Iced latte was good too.
