Dated and depressing. Dominant interior color scheme is yellow. Seriously, they could look into some new paint and carpet that isn’t reminiscent of the early 1980s. I only stay here when my client brings me into town to work. Generally it’s an ok place to sleep, but just barely. Yet on this visit, I was trying to sleep when I heard a loud, persistent droning sound outside my window at 11:30pm. Sounded like an industrial leaf blower right beneath my window. It was a GREASE VACUUM TRUCK, I was told by the front desk person. It seems that the middle of the night is the only time this service could be performed on the restaurant. Brilliant! (It has been going for two straight hours.) So great on a night when I’ve got to get up at 5am. Can’t sleep, guess I’ll just stay up all night. I imagine all the folks who are here for medical treatment at the Mayo don’t appreciate it very much either. Stay elsewhere if you can. Or bring earplugs.

Older on the inside. Looks nice from the outside. The underground parking is a little awkward because there is only one lane for cars in both directions. Room is nice and roomy. Got a kitchen in it with a decent flat top stove. No saute pan, but I worked around it with a large pot. Beds are fairly comfy. I'd like them a little softer, but they are okay. Lots of towels in the room, and it was very clean. I liked the "den". A couch in front of the TV and a nice desk to work at. All in all, very pleased with the room. The breakfast was standard fare, but get there early. They were out of orange juice with over an hour of breakfast left, and refused to make up more, to "not waste it". I'd still recommend staying if your looking for a great cost to quality stay.

Thieves. Less than an hour after checking out I called inquiring about an item I knew I left in the room. Instead of answering the phone, I had to leave a message. When I didn't receive a call back I walked there to ask if they had found my item. The rude front desk employee, who didn't want to be inconvenienced, reluctantly called housekeeping and spoke with Becky. The front desk relayed to me that Becky had sent someone to the room; however, they didn't see my item. When I explain it was a large item and difficult to miss, the front desk person stated I could speak with Becky myself and handed me the phone. When I explained to Becky that I had checked out only a couple hours prior she said the same thing, my item wasn't there and the housekeeper who cleaned the room wasn't working but who return the next day and she would call me back. I still haven't received a call. Take your business elsewhere. Thieves.

I stayed here while working at Mayo for the week. It is a very convenient location to the hospital, so a lot of patients stay here. There is free breakfast and free parking. The rooms were very comfortable. I stayed in a queen room, but I noticed there are many different styles of rooms. The suites looked very nice.

We are on our second week here. The restaurant is great, the housekeeping is wonderful and very easy access to Mayo clinic. Couldn't be happier. Would definitively stay here next time!
