Old hotel located right in the middle of the city. Positives are that plenty of things are within walking distance and rooms have some character to them. Everything is dated and older in the rooms but they seemed mostly clean. The shower left a bit to be desired in terms of cleanliness. I would only stay here if you want to be right downtown.

This hotel was at a good price and great location. It was within walking distance to the Mayo Clinic (the reason for our stay) and in the downtown close to a lot of fun places to eat and hang out. There was free off-street parking. The staff was friendly. The rooms seemed pretty clean, but very very outdated. There was a window air unit and pipes all over. The room was very small and cramped. Next time, I will pay more to stay somewhere else.

The bed was hard as a piece of plywood. Ask for a different room and checked 3 different beds all hard as plywood. Had to settle for a double bed instead of a king. No sweetner or creamer in room for coffee. You could tell the building is going to be demolished and the management doesn't care to upgrade anything. The only redeeming factor it was close to Mayo Clinic.

We were there over 2 weeks. Customer service is great. Rooms were clean and keeps clean. When there was an issue. They took care of it quickly. Don't side it's an very old building and not connected to the Skyway out Subway.
