Beautiful property in a great location. Rooms are nice and clean. Unfortunately the property is poorly managed. A few things I experienced while staying there for 2 days:n1.My booking confirmation says free breakfast is included, but the front desk told me it's not. I had to email them booking confirmation details to get a 1-day meal voucher.n2. We booked 2 rooms with views online, but front desk could not secure 2 rooms on the same floor. Instead they put us on separate floor, 1 room with view and the other room without view.n3. There is no kids friendly restaurant accessible on the property besides the breakfast joint in the lobby. There are a few casual dining restaurants on the Casino floor where kids are not allowed.nnOverall I think this property is solid and has a lot of potential. I hope that management can improve guest service and experience to take it to the next level.
Amazing stay, sadly it was only for one night. Excellent service upon check-in and throughout my stay. I recommend this hotel to anyone who choses to visit Vancouver as it's in a great location. The only negative is that the walls are paper thin and could hear people moving furniture until 3am but really didn't mind all that much.
Outstanding service from everyone!nHousekeeping was wonderful. With major attention to detail. Your personal goods in the bathroom and bedroom were immaculately placed and presented perfectly. Room service was superbly delivered in room. And not in a to-go box!
It is very rare that I will give a 5-star review. This hotel was absolutely wonderful! They allowed us to check-in early and gave us a free upgrade. The room was very clean which is very important for me and the staff were friendly. The location is close to everything and there is also a casino inside. The Douglas another Marriott hotel is connected and looked nice as well. I will definitely stay at JW Marriott if in Vancouver again. Our stay was amazing. Thank you!
What a joke.nWe arrived around 7 p.m., pretty tired from a long drive. The front desk were asking for the proof that my wife actually work for the company that she got the rate from.nn‘Do you have the company badge?’nLOL, who carries around their work badge while on vacation?nn‘How about sending an email from your company email, to our super long JW email, just to prove that you actually work there?’nWell, again, for security reason, the company won’t allow sending emails from outside the USA.nnFinally, after wasting some time and totally unnecessary commotion, they received ‘the proof’.nOverall the mood is already ruined.nThanks so much, JW!nWe won’t come back!
