My wife and I had our first Vancouver trip, and we spent two delightful nights at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Our room featured a modern, sleek design that was both neat and impeccably clean, setting a comfortable tone for our stay. The evening lounge was spacious and inviting—perfect for satisfying our hunger when we missed dinner time. Breakfast via room service was a pleasant surprise, exceeding our expectations in both taste and presentation; it's an option we'd gladly choose again. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of local attractions within walking distance in a quiet, comfortable neighborhood. The only minor drawback was the building layout: the integration with the casino and Autograph meant a considerable distance between the parking lot elevator and the hotel elevator.
Loved the room. The minimal and aesthetic design of the room was totally my favorite thing. It was spacious and clean. Check in was quick and smooth. Other than that, the rooftop garden was pretty nice as we enjoyed hanging out there in the morning with our coffee.
Beautiful property in a great location. Rooms are nice and clean. Unfortunately the property is poorly managed. A few things I experienced while staying there for 2 days:n1.My booking confirmation says free breakfast is included, but the front desk told me it's not. I had to email them booking confirmation details to get a 1-day meal voucher.n2. We booked 2 rooms with views online, but front desk could not secure 2 rooms on the same floor. Instead they put us on separate floor, 1 room with view and the other room without view.n3. There is no kids friendly restaurant accessible on the property besides the breakfast joint in the lobby. There are a few casual dining restaurants on the Casino floor where kids are not allowed.nnOverall I think this property is solid and has a lot of potential. I hope that management can improve guest service and experience to take it to the next level.
Stayed at the JW for 2 nights on a local staycation. Check-in was seamless and quick. The room itself was spacious and aesthetically pleasing, but some of the finishes are starting to show some wear. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was surprisingly quiet. There was no mini fridge in the room, which is disappointing but we also didn't ask them to bring one.nThe hotel is well located, close to the seawall, stadiums and yaletown for dining or shopping.nBecause the hotel is attached to the casino the lobby area is always very busy and loud. I'd you are looking for somewhere more tranquil to take a coffee or read you may be out of luck. While the hotel seems to have beautiful outdoor space on the 6th and 17rh floor we weren't able to enjoy that due to the time of year.nThe gym is very well equipped. Hot tub is small for the size of the property and also wasn't very hot. Would have expected to have a steam room /sauna available as well, especially given there is no pool.nOverall 4/5
My wife, son and I spent one night here before our flight home. We had an executive room and everything was great from start to finish. The service was exceptional; all staff very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
