I stayed here over the Taylor Swift weekend with my mom, sister, and friend and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Everyone working the front desk was so patient and kind, despite the chaos of the weekend, the rooms were nicely updated, clean and comfortable, the location was fantastic for a weekend in the city, and housekeeping was exceptional, tidying up our room before noon both days. They also accommodated our request to have two rooms next to each other. Lastly, the rooms were relatively reasonably priced compared to what every other hotel in the city was trying to charge. Thank you, Holiday Inn, for the great weekend! Your staff is outstanding.
This hotel aligns with the standard expectations of the brand but felt different in several aspects, both positive and negative.nnPricing: My folio showed two different nightly rates during my stay, which was unusual compared to the standard single-rate pricing I’ve experienced elsewhere and at other hotels. See photonnOverall Impression: While the location is excellent, the overall value does not justify the inflated prices. The noise issues, impractical pool design, and unclear restaurant operations detract from the experience.
This hotel isn't trying to be fancy but what it does, it does right.nnThe rooms are reasonably modern, very clean and have great amenities.nnThe beds are really comfortable and I love that they have labeled soft and firm pillows to choose from.nnThe climate control is also excellent which is more than can be said for some other hotels in the area.nnGreat job holiday inn!
Location was great since we were staying a few days after our cruise. Nice hotel, friendly employees but they stuck to their check-in time of 3pm so we and other guests had to wait in the lobby until then. 3 of us shared a nice suite but I do not recommend the pullout bed. It was awful to sleep on. Food was good in the restaurant.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. To get the negatives out of the way: noise and shower water pressure. As others have noted, you will hear traffic noise as well as from the hallway if someone is talking loudly near your door. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t particularly strong, but the water was instantaneously hot. Personally, I can deal with a little traffic noise and not the most powerful shower for a few days.nnThere were many positives! Easy check in and out, helpful staff, modern rooms, lots of power outlets on either side of the bed and around the room, extremely clean room with reliable housekeeping, comfortable bed and pillows, empty mini fridge hate it when hotels stock that with expensive items when I really just want a place for my own food and drinks and microwave, and good climate control.
