Traditional Hungarian cuisine in a family atmosphere.  The same lovely family has operated this restaurant for 19 years.  They have maintained an authentic menu, based on beef, chicken, pork and even frog legs. Potatoes are done in many fine styles, including chunky mashed and pancake.  Highly recommended!

Very lovely and kind owners and a cozy restaurant atmosphere! Excellent service as well. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous - lots of leftovers to take home! The fried cheese was especially a hit with my children. Highly recommend for some tasty Hungarian comfort food.

Always a delight to come here! Magnificent food, wonderful atmosphere and decor!! My wife and I come here often and even got engaged here. A must see in downtown Calgary!

One of the best  restaurant in Calgary.  I highly recommend them.  Huge amount of food  and very delicious. The best wiener schnitzel what  i ever had! Very friendly and helpful  owners!  Go try  them out  and you'll  fall in love 😉

We were recommend to try Jonas by our daughter. What great pick. Small family run restaurant with home cooking. Schnitzel, beef stew and chicken all enjoyed by the four of us. The "regular" portions are big , small portion would have been just fine. We all shared a crepe for desert again very good. Worth a trip or stop when your downtown. Free street parking right out front after six. Would suggest to get a reservation as space is not large and there were numerous regulars dining out on Friday night.
