Jester's Court Pub & Eatery

Great pub - large, clean, cozy and friendly staff/service. There is a good amount of food choices here as well. If you can make reservations, I would advise you to do so. This place gets very busy and being a walk in...I had to wait a little bit but respectfully. The food is consistent and not bland and with a big enough portion to keep you full for a while. As far as pubs go, this is a good one to go to.

We stopped for lunch at the pub while passing through Port Perry. Both the food and drinks were good. I would say the food was a bit pricey, the power bowl was $24 which seems excessive to me for a lunch special and the size of it.

Assume place for dinner. I had the fish special and it was out of this world. Our waitress was excellent very attentive and was more the happy to make me a couple of special drinks not listed on the menu. My sister payed the bill but some home gave a 100% ++ tip the waitress knew this was an error and came back to my sister and said think I owe you some money back. Thank you for not just taking the money ignoring the error true integrity for sure.nnWe will be back

Nothing negative to say about this pub! Cozy, inviting atmosphere and delicious food: we had the lobster bisque, pesto linguine, and red Thai curry. Fantastic! Lots of choices for vegetarians. They do tend to close early between 8-9pm most nights so make sure you arrive with plenty of time to enjoy a meal and drink.nP.S. We saw no sign of any of the restless spirits that supposedly haunt the premises.

The Jester's Court is a great place to visit when near Port Perry! We hosted our parents' milestone anniversary party there and the staff treated us so well. It was a group of around 20 people and a newborn baby, and our server, Emily, was FANTASTIC. She was so kind, friendly, accommodating, cheerful, bubbly, and quick. She always got us our orders quickly and kindly. To think that we had a group of 20 people - from newborn to late-80s - I am sure it was a big job and yet Emily was a true pro. She was always on the ball and super nice.nThe food was very good and generous portions the cheesy bread, fish and chips, and Shepherd's Pie were stand-outs and the drinks were all super reasonably priced. The cocktails were reasonably priced and a good size too! I had just been out the night before in downtown Toronto for a friend's birthday and although it was a ton of fun, a cocktail cost about $16. The cocktails at Jester's Court were about half the price and double the size!nAlso, for adventures and Halloween-lovers, the Jester's Court is supposedly very haunted. I've been twice now and haven't seen or felt any apparitions, but you never know!nBig thanks to the Jester's Court staff and especially Emily for making our family gathering so special!
