We were expecting a little bit more from a place literally called "The Pub". I ordered my standard fish and chips like I normally do whenever I visit a pub for the first time. It was okay for your everyday frozen store-bought style fish and fries. John fared a bit better with the Rueben sandwich. The coffee was quite strong. The service was very good however as the waitresses worked as a team since they were constantly running out to the busy patio then back in to check on the soccer obsessed patrons inside. A great location could be much better with fresh food.

Great little pub.  Warm and cosy on a freezing day!  Home made soups daily. Ours was excellent. Great variety of craft beer and super cold.  Fish and chips were really good. Friendly place. Will definitely be back

Excellent selection of local beers and good, simple food too.
