Story

The Piano Cafe is located in the heart of downtown Port Perry, Ontario in the former Lenard building. This beautiful award winning historical space is true to form of what the building looked like in the late 1800's. Refurbished right down to the last detail on the outside, the inside has also been renovated with intricate care, right down to the original wooden floors and high ceilings.

The Piano Cafe offers the finest coffees, excellent lunches, catering, evening venue rentals and features a rotating Art Gallery displaying the works of local and regional artists.

The Piano Inn 1884 offers the convenience of being steps away from downtown
boutiques, fabulous dining and Lake Scugog Marina. Located above The Piano Cafe in the formerly named Lenard building, this beautiful award winning historical space is true to form of the building as it looked in the late 1800's.

We stayed in the Blanche DuPont room and it was cute and perfect for our needs! Centrally located on the strip, as soon as you walk out the door you’re right in the hustle and bustle of the downtown, but you can’t hear any of the street noise from the room. The tool is very cute with nice little decor touches, and the little kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we loved having the sink right there. Bed was comfy and we liked that you can adjust the thermostat! Will definitely return whenever we need a place to stay in port Perry
I enjoyed the cafe on the main floor, my husband and I were offered covered patio but chose indoors, we were in a minute after opening and enjoyed the Brie bacon open face and soup with salad, great quality ingredients, coffee was great, service was detailed and on point. A great example of less is more. Simple decor that fits well. We’ll definitely come back with family for a brunch!
To our delight we walked in on a Wednesday afternoon to be greeted by a lovely, warm-welcoming staff. It got better when they told us the crobster was the special of the day. ITS A MUST TRY!!!, don’t miss out on the snake bite sauce on the crab and lobster sandwich. The pear, goat salad was just as light and refreshing a perfect pairing. To finish the HOMEMADE key lime pie was the perfect finish to an incredible lunch. Definitely coming back to try other dishes on the menu.
Writing this review as I’m savouring my last few bites of their Sticky Toffee Pudding. The Piano Inn is a gem. The restaurant is bright and welcoming. Cory was a fantastic server. I The Chicken ceaser wrap will change the way you feel about wraps. It was delicious, had to take half home. Served hot stuffed with chicken breast, actual pieces of bacon, lettuce and an amazing ceaser dressing. Paired perfectly with a Lavender Lemonade. Can’t wait to go back.
Hubby took me out for lunch today, we had an amazing lunch at Piano Inn & Cafe!nI had a Chicken/Bacon/Cheddar Ceasar Grilled Cheese, omg DELICIOUS!nMark had the CROBSTER Grilled Cheese and French Onion Soup, definitely will have again!nStaff are always so friendly and great atmosphere all around! nIf you haven’t been to the Piano Inn & Cafe, add it to your list when visiting beautiful downtown Port Perry!
