For a Downtown Park, this place is a hidden gem. You can park in the underground parking lot, and have easy access to street level for anything that you need it’s right next to the core, and a stones throw away from China Town. My only issue would be with the cleanliness of certain areas, but that’s to be expected in a park downtown. The parking lot also does not offer in and out privileges after you’ve paid.
Small but beautiful place. It’s missing some seasonal flowers.
“One minute park” - just look and continue walking as there are much more attractive places. This is not the best place for kids to play or spend time. So just have a look on passing by
This park has a fabulous green space and a small gated playground in the northwest corner of the park that many don't even know is there. Around 9:30 - 11:30 it is often busy with daycares and school groups. Any other time you go the park is not very busy. The Suncore and Bow towers offer a lot of shade so even on a hot day this park is a cool spot to play!
Only one for a walk there was peaceful I just felt like being by myself for a while and was just nice to sit back and relax
A small park adjacent to Calgary Downtown. Frequented often by the city's less fortunate and skateborders, at time can feel unsafe.
Quiet and peaceful when I went there. Enjoyed it
In the winter it's 5 stars because there is no homeless activity or drug use there. In the summer it's 1 star because the second anyone hears change in your pocket your harassed until you manage to escape.
Would have been more beautiful Park if it wasn't for all the junkies and assorted criminal activities that go on there. Definitely not a place to take the kids for any lengthy period of time or your mother.
This little park gives people a nice reprieve from the urban jungle surrounding it. While there are nice benches and a grass lawn, the constant klaxon from the adjacent parking garage’s alerter makes sitting there for more than 5 minutes almost unbearable. I’m not sure I would choose such a spot to relax again if I was in the same area.
