Century Gardens

I don’t normally go downtown but I thought I’d drop by as I knew they had renovated this park since last time I’ve been down here. I like the open and airy layout, fresh and lots of open space. On the negatives they took away some of the history aspects of the original installation, which is kind of disappointing. Plus there doesn’t seem to be an upper level view which is accessible anymore.

I really enjoy the new look with water features , and events this park has to offer . Many great options for dinning across the street also located next the train station :

Small nice park in the core of DT. Fountains and flowers make a great combination.

There are green areas and benches for seating and the park is located just next to a c-train station. The water was quite cold on comparison to some of the other parks we've tried. Please also note that the restroom / changing facilities are currently closed. There are temporary toilet facilities but these were not well-maintained on the day we visited. Will update the rating if things improve.

The makeover is beautiful! It looks like a completely different park now. I will probably visit more often now The goose pic is from a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see any today

One of the best evening event in downtown, Beakerhead Calgary!

Homeless haven, almost all stations in dt. You could see them selling and taking drugs right infront of you. My nephew was like, "What are the injecting or what or they doing. Really bad example and scary moments. Even on C train, some of them drunk becomes aggressive to people who are paying the ticket. City Need to do something about this.

Lovely garden area. They did a great job turning the gravel lot into something functional, as well as aesthetically nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is because the water features aren't always working. I'd say that they're working about 65% of the time.

Beautiful part of the city during the day. Keep away at night tho. ZOMBIES after dark
