FINALLY!!! THIS is the shawarma place we've all been looking for! TLDR/Short summary: Authentic, delicious, fresh shawarma made in less than 15 minutes. Extremely friendly customer service from employees who show extra attention to detail. LONGER REVIEW OF FULL EXPERIENCE My INITIAL Reaction: When my friend and I first walked into Pita Nutso, we missed the lunch hour rush and met Ali. He said to us, "You'll miss the shawarma" as we were walking out the door and planning to check out another restaurant. That stuck around in our minds, so we immediately came back to Pita Nutso and decided to give it a shot. As we got ready to place orders, we soon realized that this was the real deal. Ali was preparing a fresh shawarma stack and it was clear how focused he was on caring to every single detail of a customer's order. Getting The Food: My friend and I ordered "the works" shawarma platter. This platter was filled to the brim with fresh, fluffy rice, lots of chicken, crispy potato wedges, pita bread, and a fragrant salad on the side. The chicken was fresh, seasoned well, juicy, and just the right amount of crispy. It was complimented by a flavourful yellow rice Ali had just made on the stove. It wasn't drenched in oil, retained it's fluffiness, and helped to balance the saltiness of the chicken. There was also a garlic sauce and a spicy sauce which were added based on customer preference. Ali placed the perfect amount and made sure not to drown the entire meal in sauce which often ruins the overall experience. Now this, by itself, was already perfect. But this platter had much more! The salad had this delicious raspberry vinaigrette that cut through the heaviness of the rice, chicken, and potato wedges. It cleansed the palette each time and helped you to enjoy the meal without feeling full to the point of being sick which is something a lot of other shawarma places struggle with. At the end of this meal, you'll feel full, completely satisfied, and be looking forward to your next visit! Conclusion: You ABSOLUTELY need to give this place a try! It doesn't matter if you're a student, senior, or family of 4. For the price, flavour, authenticity, and portion sizes Pita Nutso cannot be beat! Ali, and everyone else working there really enhance the experience by ensuring you're completely taken care of when you enter their resturant. Genuinely, I have not had shawarma this good since Dubai. Side note: I was extremely excited to post this review because I think more people need to know about this resturant. Speaking to Ali about the history of Pita Nutso, as well as the challenges they've overcome was an absolute treat. This establishment has been an integral part of Mississauga's history for over 20 years, and I know it'll be for many more years to come! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options like falafel! Wheelchair accessibility: They follow Ontario accessibility guidelines. Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal!

First time having Pita Nutso in almost a decade and it's just as good if not better than I remember! Very happy to see that their quality and consistency has held up over the years unlike some of those "other" shawarma spots. Good portions, value, and delicious - the chicken is cooked perfectly, slightly crispy and juicy. Garlic sauce and hot sauce are both delicious. Definitely holds the crown for best shawarma and chicken on the rocks in streetsville

My favourite shawarma place by far! The employees are extremely nice & genuine, & the food is delicious & filling! Prices are fair & worth every penny. Will continue to come back!

I felt cheated. This restaurant has frauds who should be held accountable for their actions. Please see pictures as proof of my review. The note on the top of the container is written by them without any compensation. I ordered “The works chicken shawarma”. It comes with potato wedges and nut salad. I paid extra for sauteed veggies as well. However they failed to give me anything barring rice with onion and fries. It tasted as if a novice chef had cooked. It barely had chicken. It did not have salad and potato wedges at all. I am horrified at this conduct. The staff should have the decency to cancel the order if they ran out of stock or could have called, they chose neither. Would not order from here from future.

In such a competitive market where new Shawarma spots are always popping up, Pita Nutso still reigns supreme. The wrap is perfectly crisp,the meat is seasoned to perfection and the garlic sauce is phenomenal.

Excellent quality Arabic food! A lot better especially when they use fresh meat produce. A taste more unique than so many other places! And competitive prices too! P.S.: Regardless of the slogan, definitely "more pita" for me and DEFINITELY from here.

I had a chicken shawarma only. Very well bllanced flawors! He asked me if I like spicy. Yes, I like spicy and was so good, not super spicy like other places. I have to come back to check what's on the menu . Shawarma wrap was my desire in this evening, and it was fulfilled.

Ali is the best. Always so clean and organized, their service is unmatched. And I’m treated like family. Streetsville legends. Best shawarma on earth. Thanks boys

We visited for the first time after reading some recommendations online for this place as a few people were saying it is the best shawarma in Mississauga. We had the chicken on potato wedges. We love chicken on the sticks so it was a unique touch to have it on potato wedges. The wedges were very yummy. We paid extra for the toppings like lettuce, tomato, feta on top of the fries. The garlic sauce is very yummy and flavorful. Wish they would've been more generous on the feta as we love feta! Overall pretty good!

The chicken inside of the shawarma was cold. This is because they cut the chicken off the shawarma stick and put it in another container. You should be cutting the chicken fresh for every sandwich
