Many advisors do a fine job developing financial plans, but my motivations are different. I focus on developing relationships and helping people through major milestones in life. With more than 24 years experience as a financial planner, this profession is about who I am and my impact on others, as opposed to what I do or the products we offer. It's about the long lasting relationships and the impact we have on others. Through good times and bad, whether it is something as difficult as the loss of a loved one, or as joyous as the birth of a child, we are there to help with the financial details.
As a Certified Financial Planner, I focus on developing plans to help achieve specific financial and lifestyle goals. Through our Enhanced Wealth Management Service, we work with business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals and families to develop an understanding of their specific needs. With a complete analysis of each individual’s goals and circumstances, we provide a plan to achieve their goals. Frequent review sessions allow us to monitor progress and investment strategies for continued growth and success.
I live in Sherwood Park with Bobbi, my beautiful wife of almost 20 years, and our two sons Simon and Marcus. Simon loves football and Marcus is a great hip-hop dancer. My greatest joy comes from watching the boys succeed at their chosen activities. As special needs children, they have had to work hard at the events in life that many take for granted.
I recently joined the board for Simon’s Bantam football team and became treasurer for the bursary society. I host an annual golf tournament to support the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada. We also support organizations and events such as Movember to support men’s health issues, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Terry Fox run.
