Inglewood Bird Sanctuary

If you love nature walks and seeing wildlife, this place is for you. Place has the calming effect to unwind. Lots of birds to see so bringing binoculars would be a good idea. Perfect area for birding.

Excellent place for a walk all year round. Lots of wildlife to see.

First time here. Beautiful paths that take you along the river. Lots of ducks, geese and gulls and fortunate to see a blue heron. Surprised that there are workers walking along paths ready to answer any questions you may have. Great place for all ages. Paths are easy to walk.

Excellent chance to see the very colorful Wood Ducks; there is a large resident population nearly 50, and generally visible year round. The Wood Ducks tend to congregate on the fallen trees sitting out in the pond, near the Colonel Walker House.

Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a serene and nature friendly rendezvous. It’s also a great spot for picnics, friends hangout and weddings. You photos will look lush when taken at this venue.

We've been here once in the morning, and once in the early evening. Great experience both times. It's a nice municipal park with lots of wildlife. We've seen a muskrat, tame deers, garter snakes, fish and a whole bunch of birds. Awesome place to go!

Came to here three times. But Birds are less . Maybe the winter was too cold.

Love seeing the nature, and walking around here too, most recommended place to visit in Calgary for a great nature walk!
