Fantastic quality!nWhenever I want to buy something in IKEA I try to be at lunch time so I can dine in Swedish restaurant not only because of great quality but also because of great atmosphere! It has a very nice and calming view of outside and always is clean and tidy! I feel very nice each and every time I visit IKEA in north York.

Each bite feels like classic Swedish comfort food at its best.nnNext came the pulled pork sandwich, and wow — what a pleasant surprise! The pork was juicy and well-seasoned, tucked into a soft bun with just the right amount of tangy slaw. It’s hearty without being heavy, making it a great option if you want something beyond the usual meatball order.nnOn the side, we shared a generous portion of fries — crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and lightly salted. Simple, but well-executed.nnThe hidden gem, though, was the Hungarian soup goulash. Rich, warming, and packed with tender beef and paprika-spiced broth, it felt like a cozy, homemade dish you’d never expect to find in a furniture store café.nnOverall, IKEA’s lunch lineup is affordable, satisfying, and full of little surprises. The salmon fillet is always so moist, so good and the mashed potatoes too it just takes a long time to get your food especially on 50% off main dish Thursdays, but that’s to be expected since it’s IKEA.

Just the food alone at IKEA is worth the trip.nnI usually order either the Swedish meatballs or the Fish and Chips combo when I'm at the IKEA restaurant, however, they recently added poutine on their menu. And since I'm such a huge poutine fan, I had to try it.nnI ordered the small poutine which was around $6 - $7 which is a pretty good price considering that even the small dish alone gets you a lot of poutine. The presentation was great. The fries were in great quality, the cheese curds were stringy like how you would expect it to be in poutine, and the gravy was tasty. I wish they added a bit more gravy next time, but this is not a huge issue. Atmosphere in general was great. I've always liked the way that IKEA looked and getting a window seat while eating with my friends felt very comfy. The employees were all nice and friendly. I pretty much had no issues at this location. Always going to come back here. Can't wait to try out the large dish of poutine next!
