Añejo Restaurant

Came here with the girlies and absolutely loved the food! We shared the guacamole and all ordered tacos as a main. I ordered the guava margarita, which was super delicious and my friend orders a mango margarita double shot, which we definitely tasted. The machines were actually down when we were trying to pay for the bill, but our server offered us a round of tequila shots which was super thoughtful of her. Even though we waited for a while to pay, the hospitality was not missed. Would come back again!

Went to the Don Mills location yesterday for Happy Hour. Started with Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita and Beer. Margarita was okay. Then had their Tabletop Guacamole with Chips. This was excellent and would recommend it. Then had their Crispy Shrimp and again this was delicious. Our final dish was 3 Braised Beef Tacos which were okay, a bit too soggy and very little onion and cilantro and 3 Fish Tacos which were so, so dry and basically a piece of fish and red cabbage with a bit of cut up jalapeños. No sauce, no cilantro and no onion. Fish had very little taste and had to put their mayo sauce on it in order to swallow. Also we ordered the tacos with corn tortillas and ended up with the white tortillas. Service was excellent. Overall I give it a 7 out of 10

The appetizers were terrific. I wouldn’t pay 42 dollars again for the steak. they should think about maybe making carrot steaks… the carrots were cooked well. As for the tacos….. less than impressed. I had a different experience at the king location so I was very disappointed.

We came to this Mexican restaurant during happy hour. The Margaritas were 50% off. The beers were flat rate of $7 and the classics tacos were $4. The tacos are tasty. The Summer Ceviche was made by fresh ingredients and tasted good. What a bargain to try a new restaurant! We will definitely come back for lunch and dinner!

I stopped by this location for dinner, and I was not disappointed. The tacos were great and not over the top. Good bases and simple toppings to go on it. They had good flavor, and the presentation was clean. I recommend the carnitas and chorizo tacos. We also started with an appetizer that came with all the different hot sauces, guacamole, and refried beans. All in all, it was a great spot with good decor. Side tip, both locations have two happy hours that you catch with food and drink options. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back.
