Añejo Restaurant

This was our first time dining. We came with a small group of 6 for a couples night out. Parking was easy — some of us found spots in the parking garage, and some in front of Metro. Either way, it was a nice stroll through the ‘Shops’ with lots going on all around.nWe were seated on the covered patio/sunroom, which was really comfortable and had just as much charm and fun decor as the inside dining room.nOur waitress was kind and bubbly. She was able to take our orders in an organized manner, and at the end she was able to split our appetizers and shared items very easily. Some of our party wished that she had attended to us a bit more, as we had to wait long for water refills, and asked/looked for her quite a few times. We had a couple of other servers/kitchen staff assisting us at times and we weren’t sure if this was typical or she had left her shift at some point during our visit.nThe food was impressive! The only thing is say was the portion sizes of appetizers weren’t large enough. We were left just under satisfied with the amount of food in the apps we ordered, however, the tortilla chips are ‘bottomless’ so that made up for it I suppose!n**if you’re into sauces with a kick, you NEED to try that Spicy Mayo they have at the tables, EXCELLENT!**nAtmosphere was great. Decor and furniture were attractive and fit the theme very well. One downfall was the trip downstairs to the bathroom. Although there were nicely decorated stairwell and an elevator for accessibility, it was just a bit of a bother to travel all the way downstairs.nOverall, great time and we all agreed it was a place to visit again to try more menu items!

A little late for this review but still wanted to share. The family and I went out because we were all craving tacos. Love the fact they give you the option to order 3 tacos but that it didn't have to be the same one. We tried their beef, their chicken and their fish tacos. Their nacho with different sauce options was an all around favour. Definitely going back to try the other dishes on the menu.

Great vibes and drinks were amazing within budget during the happy hours 10PM-12AM. Loved the scallops and in-house salsa tasting. Tacos could be better. Overall, it was a good experience

The tacos was absolutely immaculate specially the shrimp and fish and the Quesabirria chefs kiss. Table guacamole was good and they mix the ingredients in front of us presentation was sweet.nnwe had the classic margarita pitcher and it was 10/10 - enough for 6 people.nnChristian was our server and he was genuinely amazing. Constantly checking in on us, all requests were accepted and brought to us quickly such as salt, Lemon, group pictures and videos taking our shots- he was supper sweet and cheering us on for my graduation.nnReally really recommend this branch and recommend having Christian as your waiter he also checks in with food allergies and takes them seriously unlike other restaurants I’ve been to!!

I love Mexican food, specially Tacos and I love margaritas. And Anejo offers both in a high quality and a nice atmosphere.nnWe reserved a table on the patio covered during winter and were seated at no time upon arrival. The staff are very friendly.nnThe service is great and we received information on specials and recommendations for our order.nnWe ordered “Guacamole”, and tacos. Guacamole is fresh and made at your table; it’s always nice to watch food preparation.nnThe food was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the both the vibe and our food.
