Howard Johnson Of Traverse City

Stayed here 3 times in 2 years. Each time a good experience. Rooms modern and VERY clean. Even the window glass was clean! Large nicely tiled shower. The check in lady (same one says good things about staff) was so pleasant with follow up rarely seen with a brief call to the room a few minutes after check-in gave a true impression of good service. Only negative, which seems petty , is the TV is small and not wall mounted for easier viewing and the bed only average comfort . Lobby beautiful . Even good coffee.

Nice clean hotel. Nothing spectacular but was definitely great for the price. I will stay here again if I am in Traverse City.

Clean. Big shower with adjustable shower head. Comfortable bed. Three pillows. Very nice and friendly staff. Updated. Exterior entry door but we don't mind that. Good TV. Beverage frig. Traffic sounds were VERY muted. I'll say clean again because that's huge. Windows didn't open which was a bummer but the new AC worked well and was quiet so it worked. For sixty bucks, it was perfect.

Only booked here because nothing else was available (last minute booking). Pool is nice. Staff is nice. Shower was nice. Room is out of date. Wi-Fi SUCKS. Beds are uncomfortable. The room seemed humid. Hotel was out of bath towels and pillows when we asked. Would not stay here again. Would be less than three stars if it weren't for the staff.

This is probably the best inexpensive motel I ever stayed at I travel a lot and sometimes I travel cheap because it's the work and this was probably the best $60 a night room plus tax that I have ever stayed in. (Cash price is not including bonuses or perks or whatever just straight up $60 a night plus tax)
