Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant

Lived nearby for 22 years and only now have I finally tried it. This is oone of my greatest regrets. On a mission for Chinese food after a day of painting this restaurant delivered in so many ways. Though primarily aimed at takeout service try and take advantage of the 10% discount for paying cash, there are few tables inside for smaller groups. It is well-maintained and clean. Not a hole-in-the-wall type place but still pretty amazing. I phoned in my order and it was ready when I arrived 15 minutes later. Was greeted and attended to immediately. A newer employee was being trained and the wonderful woman in charge did a great job of walking her through everything ensuring all items from the order were in the bags, all extra items such as soy sauce and the like were also present. I was in and out quickly. The food was wonderful. While we didnt get anything aside from standard north American Chinese food classics, they were all piping hot and properly cooked. Nothing was overly greasy. Nothing was cloyingly sweet either. Even the fried rice was a surprise. Leftovers make excellent meals the next day. This place is being added to my go-to list for takeout.

Delicious! Best Chinese ever. Not greasy at all and amazing flavors. Definitely will keep coming. The breading on chicken balls and shrimp is not heavy its light and their house fried rice is sooo tasty. I Definitely recommend this place. Great for Friday nights when u want take-out.

Best "chinese" food ive had by far...EVER!! Ive had a LOT of experiences from Toronto to North Carolina..this place is def top 2.Service is excellent, the food is spectacular,very flavorful and healthy FULL SIZE portions. I absolutely recommend this place to EVERYONE! I absolutely love them.

Pretty expensive in terms of what you're receiving. Food was ok, a bit on the greasy side but hey it's chinese food! I found the flavoring a bit overwhelming and the breading was more than what I'm used to. Worth a try but won't be returning.

Good Chinese food. Very good for take out since the dining room is small. Clean, reasonable price and good food.

Restaurant says Seafood in the title but no seafood specials offered for lunch. Ordered seafood lo mein off the menu that has no flavour, hard to find any sauce maybe in the corner of the plate? Maybe a hint of ginger? Shrimps taste like water. Even tried adding soy sauce so there would be some flavour. Do not recommend.

I’ve been a client for 20 years, there’s no better Chinese restaurant in the region. The qualify of the food and the amazing service sets Hong Kong Seafood well ahead of their competitors.
