Mei King Restaurant

Last year I had terrible food here. This year it's fantastic. New menu? New cook? Had the General Tsau chicken lunch special. Portion was big, taste was great. I'm glad to see Mei King get back to it's former glory as one of the best!!

Food was great! We ordered take out and our food was packaged really nicely to avoid any spills. Wait time was 15-20 minutes which isn't bad considering the food tasted fresh and was hot even by the time we got home. They also have a lot of veggie options on their menu. I really appreciate how much tofu they had to their dishes. A lot of other restaurants skimp out on the tofu. The portions are sizeable. Every dish has a unique flavor which is nice so it doesn't feel like you're eating the same thing. Staff were really helpful as well and were able to confirm that the dishes were vegetarian.

I've had takeout from here many times never dined in and it always hits the spot! Especially on Friday evening after a busy week. The food is always delicious and the portions are very generous. The food in the picture made three meals for my husband and I. The staff are great too; always pleasant to deal with and my order is always correct.

Very Delicious Chinese Food. Small dining room. I enjoyed my meal. Public Washrooms are not available. Could not order Bubbling Ice Tea because the ice machine was broken down. The waitress that served me and my buddy was nice. Vegetarian options: You can order vegetables. Parking: Parking Lot is small.

WORST! We ordered chicken curry and all we got was a bowl full of huge chunks or green capsicum and onions and some portion of chicken. There was absolutely no curry! I called and wanted to check with the guys who were serving and they suddenly decided that they cannot understand Or speak English..I will give 2 stars for the veg fried rice

Decent sesame balls, they are small golf ball size, could be a bit bigger as they are $6 for 6 of them plus tax so almost $8. Staff is super nice. Decent amount of parking, which you turn into right off Victoria. Small place, not open for dine-in at the moment.

Fresh, flavourful and packed with delicious ingredients. Mei King for the win. Love the BBQ pork fried rice and Cantonese dishes. The staff are very sweet as well! Vegetarian options: They’re veggies are fresh and full of colour and flavour. Parking: Easy parking off Margaret.

Tried take out today, and I think this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have tried. Ordered the chicken in black bean sauce and got all onions and green peppers and 2 pieces of chicken. Not to mention it was also gross. The fried rice was disgusting and the sweet and sour chicken balls were chewy. Finally their spring rolls taste very odd. Won't be ordering here again.

It was my first time going here to order takeout. It was an amazing first experience as I wasn't sure what I was wanting and they took the time to explain their combos while being fairly busy and keeping the flow consistent. For how busy they are, they sure know how to maintain good flow to ensure orders are going out on time. Short waiting time too for ordering there and waiting less than 10 minutes. The food was amazing as well. Everything I expected and better! I will be returning for more Chinese food in the future!
