My parents and I enjoyed a tasty lunch here in late January. Generous portions, very reasonably priced we had a $6.99 basa lunch special. Fish nicely battered and well cooked, good fries. Not greasy. The plaid tablecloths under glass made it a little nicer for a dine-in experience. Order at the counter-not table service. And the staff were friendly and efficient. I didn’t realize the place is licensed till we were leaving-next time I’ll have a beverage as we’ll definitely be back!

Fish and chips were ok. But my husband thinks they were a bit stingy on the tartar sauce. He asked for another one and he was told that's enough for two meals.

I've been coming to Homestyle Fish and Chips for 26 years. The shop has changed hands about 3 times but the quality of food is still consistently good. Not greasy at all. Freshly store cut potatoes for their fries. Usually not too busy, but definitely lunch time has a fair amount of customers. I order the “Two and a few” halibut which is a smaller version with less fries and is still a fairly generous portion. The only thing I miss is a fresh wedge of lemon. I would give it 5 stars if they had that. The coleslaw is more mayonnaise based, so don't ever order it as I prefer a more vinegar based coleslaw. Cozy place with a feel of an old tradition fish house. Staff is friendly and the food is very tasty. It's a quiet place to eat and to enjoy fish and chips.

Haddock & french fries with coleslaw were really good.Reasonably priced. Not too oily & greasy. Hard to find good ones. Most of the time the fish is too oily & mushy.

Food was good . Very crispy and tasted good. Fries are really nice and crispy . Portion size could be better . I bought 2 piece haddock and fries for $13 .

Probably the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life ..stingy way way way overpriced and not enough to feed a family in my opinion I would never return Their website is not updated with incorrect pricing. There are way better places out there
