Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. Well served by Matt. All the items were delicious and good value for money. They even gave us a complimentary slice of cake the celebrate the occasion. Loved the Prime Rib and the fried onions that came with it. The iceberg salad was also delicious. Highly recommended for a steak meal.
We made a reservation online which was quick and easy. The hostess was very professional when greeting us upon arrival and that was a preview of the professional service that we continued to see throughout our visit. Overall it was really good. The food was very tasty and prepared exactly to order. We were really impressed with the level of service and quality of the food. Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu Parking: There is parking around the restaurant shared with the neighbouring businesses. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance, most tables and the washrooms are all accessible.
The waiter was super friendly. The atmosphere was cozy sitting in the circular sofa. The texture of new York >>> prime rib. Double backed potato was so good, and you can really taste every single ingredient! Lobster tail a bit salty, but it was still pretty good.
Valentines 2023 the place is packed. It’s advisable to reserve during occasions like valentines. The place is always clean and cozy, dim lighting, and nice washrooms. My steak was great and love the bread and garlic butter, of course, Billy miner’s pie ice cream! Wine selection is good and brews as well. I like coming here.
I hadn't been to The Keg in years but we had giftcards so we tried it out. Food was quite good. The complimentary bread was delicious, especially with the lobster bisque. The only thing I didn't like was the steak sandwich was open faced and I hate sandwiches like that. the flavor on the sandwich was quite good though. my husband enjoyed his meal and I think he had a moment with the Billy miner pie
We had our friendsmas and birthday dinner. It was so busy inside, so make sure to book reservations at this location. We sat by the fireplace, so it was so cozy. Our server was awesome. He knew the menu and had good recommendations, and we never had to look for him. He was very informative. The food was delicious as always. I always order the baseball steak with the twice baked potato, wedge salad with blue cheese and vegetables. It always tastes the same, so it's always good! We also ordered the prime rib, calamari, cauliflower, and Billy miner cake. These are great options for apps and dessert. Parking: There's lots of parking but it's busy, so it may be hard to find parking Dietary restrictions: Peanut free
Great experience. Great food. Surprised me to see the number of gluten free menu options, but even more so that Tristan came out from the kitchen to review my order with me after hearing of my allergy and reassuring me clean and new kitchen tools would be used for my meal. Our server was Incredibly kind, professional and friendly - I believe their name was EJ. Overall really wonderful experience considering I’m usually nervous with restaurants due to my dietary restrictions.
Lovely set up indoors. We reserved table ahead of our arrival on a weekend and ambience is good with nice distance and divisions between table to give a feel of privacy and social distance. Everything we ordered was very good. Service was good but later got a bit slow with taking a couple of minutes to check upon when we wanted to order dessert and even the check. Overall good experience!
The Keg never disappoints, food is really great. Especially the Lobster, apparently they only have it for 1 month out of the year and it’s actually amazing! Our server Kelly was also great with the recommendations, enjoyed our small conversations and all. She really went above and beyond for us
The Keg ! Who has not heard of this place. I heard the steak is good and it’s the best quality you can find in Canada. But I have to say I don’t agree. Let me start with the service. Loved the ambience. We were seated on a nice big table for 7, but we were just 4. We ordered the Peppercorn New York Steak, New York Sirloin, The Keg burger, Pistachio Salmon, Oyster and Garlic Shrimp. And then we waited…..we waited….we waited…..finally after 40mins we got our order. We got our appetizers, Oyster and Garlic Shrimp. And then we waited…..we waited…. We waited… asked our server what’s going on why it’s taking so long ? She says kitchen is backed up. So finally after 55mins we get our entrées. Disappointed to say that the plate was hotter than my food. My steak was cooked to perfection but it was not warm. I didn’t complaint cause I was hungry. The taste was good but the steak wasn't worth the hype. I don’t know if its because my food was sitting in the kitchen for long or it was just the quality of steak. We then ordered the Mud Pie cake for dessert and that was the best part of my dinner. Also I forgot to mention I loved the Oyster but again “Keg” is known for their steak and not Oyster. I don’t know if I would come back.
