If you’re looking for a place that serves great Indian Chinese at an affordable price, A1 is your go to place! We got their chicken pakora, house special fried rice and spicy fried rice along with chilli chicken and all the items tasted delicious! The quantity was more than enough for 4 of us and I’ll highly recommend this place for some flavourful Chinese food.
My parents let me know that there was a Hakka Chinese restaurant they wanted to try. I ordered Chili Chicken Dry, Crispy Sesame Beef, Chicken Pakora, Veggie Hakka Chow Mein all mild spicy over the phone. I was told by the associate who took my order to come in 10 to 15 minutes. I got there at the 15 minute mark and paid. I saw 2 sets of customers who were seated and they were waiting a long time for their food. I overheard that the couple that was seated had to send back their food because there was not any chili in their dish nor were there any flavour. Back to me, I constantly had to check in with the associate at the front to ask when my order was going to come. Excuses of, "so sorry we need 5 minutes, 10 minutes, it will be out shortly", etc. I was frustrated and upset. My daughter was with me and was waiting for her food from another place and was hungry. After waiting for 30 minutes, I asked the associate, "why did you tell me to come in 10-15 minutes when the food would not be ready?" She just gave me more apologies. At this time there were a lot of patrons who were waiting in the front. We were all getting frustrated. When one set of take-out was brought to the front by the associates, it was just left there and both went to the back. One patron just went and snatched their order and left without them being there. I was so upset and asked more times. It was 50 minutes and finally they came out with the food with apologies. I gave them thanks anyway regardless if I was thinking, "I don't wanna come back her again." My family was starving. We tried the food and it was good. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. Great flavour and crunch. I am on the fence if I would want to go back because of the awful lateness. I am not sure because this was a big inconvenience. There was only a sorry and not offering to make it right the next time.
Delicious Hakka style Chinese. Awesome Quantity for a very reasonable pricing. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. My new place for Hakka cuisine in Mississauga.
Ordered spicy chili chicken, house chow mein with chicken and shrimp and sweet and sour veggies. Sauced entrees come with rice. Food has delicious home cooked taste and is not over salted. Service is very pleasant, we were served water as we awaited our takeout. Go before 2:30 to get lunch specials. Open late, quaint dine in space, reasonably priced. So many positives! Will be back!
The staff were very respectful. Food tasted great. Chilly Momo, Himalayan Thukpa is amazing. Prices is 100% worth it. Will definitely return to this place in the future
Amazing food. Very polite staff. Try food at this restaurant you wouldn’t be disappointed. We ordered tandoori momos which were out of the world ! Loved it overall
One of the best Hakka restaurant in the town with authentic Nepalese MoMo and Thuppa. Excellent costumer service and recommend everyone to give a try.
Saw signs for this restaurant all around the city that it had newly opened up. Decided to give it a try with some lunch specials. Ordered Veggie Manchurian kids perennial favourite, Hakka Noodles, and a Mixed Vegetable with Fried Tofu. The lunch special had soup for the day and Veg Spring Roll. The soup of the day had egg so we requested a replacement for the soup with an extra Spring Roll. Veg Manchurian was great. Wish it was tad spicier. Hakka Noodles we’re too bland but had less oil which we liked. The Mixed Vegetable was good however fried tofu was too chewy. Wish the Tofu was not fried. The kitchen forgot to add extra Spring Rolls were good, perfectly fried to golden colour.
It's a 3.5 and not 3. Chicken and fried rice was too oily. Reminded me of street style Desi Chinese/Hakka Chinese. It wasn't bad but it had a really bad/greasy aftertaste. Should not say this, but it caused skin outbreaks and that really upset me. I wouldn't say don't go, may be you'll be fine. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options. Parking: Free plaza parking. Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor and has am accessibility washroom.
