Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oshawa Downtown - Toronto Area

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oshawa Downtown for 20 days while going through cancer treatment, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the staff.nnHayley and Amanda at the front desk were always so welcoming and helpful. No matter what was going on, they always had a smile and made me feel like they genuinely cared.nnBrinda and Marilou in the breakfast area were just as amazing. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and I've never seen staff who were so kind and generous to every single guest. What really stood out was how they treated people who were staying there through the Red Cross. They showed everyone the same kindness, respect, and compassion, and it was really heartwarming to see.nnWhen you're away from home and going through something as difficult as cancer treatment, little acts of kindness mean more than people realize. Thank you to all the staff for making such a hard time a little easier. You truly made a difference.nnJerry

We stayed at this hotel near the Tribute Communities Centre, and overall it was a great experience.nI’d especially like to recognize Victoria at the front desk, she was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel truly at home and went above and beyond to ensure we felt taken care of and valued. Her level of care and attention made a real difference throughout our stay and turned a good experience into a memorable one.nThe breakfast offered a great variety, the rooms were clean, and the bathtubs were a wonderful bonus after long days. We also had the opportunity to stay in an executive suite, which made the experience even more comfortable.

Room was very nice. We had one of the wrap around rooms. Very nice views of the city. The room needed more lighting especially around the coffee area. Also most suites have two TVs. One in the bedroom and the other one in the sitting area where there is a couch. This room only had one TV. We were disappointed that the breakfast buffet didn’t have cinnamon rolls the two mornings we were there. One of the reasons we stay at Holiday Inn is for their delicious cinnamon rolls in the morning. Which they are known for. Buffet was just o.k. Nothing special.

The service is excellent. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and eager to provide what you need. During breakfast Kitika and Marilou kept the area clean and fully stocked with fresh food. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Shower could have been better and the pool floor is not very nice but everything else was great. Very nice people. Warm pool and pool area. Underground parking exit is a little tight, but this place was as nice as the last place I stayed at, and nicer than the last 8 before it. I would stay here again. Very nice staff.
