Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mississauga - Toronto Southwest

Great value hotel overall; it may be an express but the experience exceeded my expectations. There is a reason that so many reviews mention John at the front desk—I wholeheartedly agree with the person who said every Holiday Inn should hire someone like him! He naturally made the place feel very warm and welcoming, setting the tone for the rest of our experience and leaving us very happy with our stay.nnAll the staff were great from the front desk, to the breakfast people, and even housekeeping and the person cleaning the lobby/elevators. Rooms were nice, clean, and had full size Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion which was a plus for me. Large pool with a gym overlooking it, wish there was a hot tub. Nice location 5 minutes from the GO station if you wanted to make a trip to Toronto or even Niagara. Also many places to dine in or get takeout to enjoy in your room.nnThere was so much to enjoy during our short stay. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well designed, and the breakfast offered a good selection. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. John and Laksh in particular, as well as Sam the other staff members, went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Overall, a great experience!

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations due to multiple issues related to room conditions and customer service.nnThe Wi-Fi was not working in my room. When I contacted the front desk for assistance, I was told, “maybe the room doesn’t like you,” which I found extremely unprofessional. I had to go to the front desk two to three times regarding the same issue, yet it remained unresolved.nnAdditionally, the bathroom sink was not draining properly, causing water to back up, and the room had an unpleasant odor throughout my stay.nnI was also given conflicting information by front desk staff regarding hotel policies. When I asked the evening staff member, John, whether drinks could be charged to the room deposit, he stated that this was not allowed. However, the following morning, another front desk agent informed me that drinks could, in fact, be charged to the room. This inconsistency reflects a lack of proper training and communication among staff.nnI strongly believe the front desk team requires additional training to ensure professional behavior and consistent representation of hotel policies. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return to this hotel.nnThank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Everything about the hotel was excellent from the Managers and reception staff, the attentive ladies in the buffet breakfast area who kept the area immaculately clean and well stocked, to the housekeeping staff going the extranmile to make our room clean and well maintained. Special thanks to John and to Lakshya who made us feel very much at home during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. And to Lorna in the restaurant. All very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone be it business or holiday trip. We would definitely visit again.

DO NOT STAY HEREnnThe rooms are nice and clean, staff are good, breakfast is mediocre at best.nnHowever, prime location for car break ins, vandalism and unsavory elements.nnMy truck was parked in the second row in plain site to the front desk staff and no one saw my alarm going off and people breaking my windows and bending the door to get into my vehicle. Second night of a five night stay.nnHotel management essentially said diet shut your luck and that their camera could see anything as it was too dark.nnWhy even bother having cameras if at night, it is too dark.nnAwful experience. I will be reaching out legally.
