The Waterside Inn

This lovely boutique hotel was a perfect getaway for our weekend. Whether you live in the greater GTA or are visiting from out of town, this quaint hotel provides everything you need. It is clean, well managed and extremely well located. The staff are friendly and helpful. Waking up to a great view of Lake Ontario is a perfect way to start your day. The hotel is a 15 minute drive to downtown Toronto but at the same time, the property is situated in the heart of Port Credit which has plenty of dining and nightlife options. The Breakwater restaurant at the Waterside is also very good with a breakfast buffet that was outstanding. Our room was spacious, cozy and clean. We also found the small kitchen, complete with fridge, microwave and utensils to be very handy. If you don't want the hustle and bustle of the big city but being close enough to it, this is the perfect spot. With the summer months nearby, can only imagine how beautiful this hotel and surroundings will be. So glad we found this little gem!

Old condo building that was converted into a hotel. Staff was friendly and the location is nice though 50min drive (with usual traffic) from city center. Good restaurants are around. The pros: each room is a little appartment with fully working kitchen and living room and little balcony. Good heating, aircon and windows. Nice view. The cons: the fitness room is very very basic, dirty, messy and two machines were broken, and only two pairs of dumbbells. Mats were too dirty to use. The room service is very basic and left dirty dishes. Bed wasnt made and so a very dirty duvet was uncovered. Summary: its not worth its money. Its a basic hotel though friendly service and nice area.

My husband and I used the Waterside Inn as the venue for our wedding ceremony on October 14, 2017. We just have to say how pleased that we chose the perfect venue for our celebration. It is nearly a week later and our friends and family are still raving about the food. The butternut squash soup was divine, the mushroom stack was delicious, the beef tenderloin and chicken were perfectly cooked for each guest almost as if they (beef) was individually ordered! Lastly the tartuffo ice cream was the perfect topper for the perfect meal. We would like to thank Marlene for helping us plan our special day. She was patient and made changes with no fuss even at the last minute. We'd also like to thank Tony who made sure our evening ran smoothly and a very special thank you to the amazing servers and chefs who delivered a scrumptious meal. We also had a brunch for overnight guests which was also quite lovely. Waterside Inn is a definite must to host your special day.

Super close to the fun at Port credit, our standard room had a king but they brought in a cot at no extra charge. The beverages and snacks are relatively cheap ($2.50-3) and the water is $1.50 which is a great convenience! Unlike other places that charge exorbitant prices. The place was super clean and quite ornate. Only knock against the room is the tv was a little small for the distance from the bed, but if you're buying a hotel for the tv ur doing something wrong.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Waterside Inn and we could not have found a better venue. We worked closely with Marlene and she is simply amazing! She answered all of our questions and emails so quickly and ensured our day was perfect. Marlene helped alleviate my stress and put my mind at ease. The entire staff at the Waterside Inn ensured our special day was perfect. Marlene and her staff accommodated our guests and were flexible in everything we asked. We highly recommend this place for your next event.
